JJS, Oblomov,

Not taking sides but can you both agree to call it a draw.
I value your contributions as the vast majority of the time you both post interesting stuff, but this spat is spoiling things a tad.
Please either of you, don't take offense, as none intended.

JJS - 11 May 2006 13:44 - 16461 of 27111

A nice 500k buy at 13.5p just hit the screen :)

JJS - 11 May 2006 13:47 - 16462 of 27111

Greekman,

It's Oblomov that has this petty, never ending, 'hurl abuse at PM' syndrome, when he's not here to reply.

Considering all the research that PM has done, including setting up a website for it, and a discussion board for those who want to avoid the bashers and idiots, and sent several good ideas to Stanelco, several of which are now in R&D, and could add significantly to the SP if they are commercialised, you would think Oblomov would be grateful !!

greekman - 11 May 2006 13:55 - 16463 of 27111

Hi JJS,

As said not taking sides, but I do agree PM1 put far more positive input into this share discussion than negative input. I just don't want things to go the same way as they did on that other ( won't mention the name ) investment site. On that same site it was a SS who continually spoiled the thread. I squelched him, but left that site for good due to many posters replying to said person.
Again not saying either of you are spoiling the thread, far from it, but it could head the same way. But I will shut up on this now.

oblomov - 11 May 2006 14:12 - 16464 of 27111

No offence taken, greekman. I hadn't realised it was a spat - just a fairly harmless bit of fun, no more serious than the Eric and Hattie posts. I am a little surprised at how sensitive JJS is of PM1, however. Make of that whatever you will - I just like to see a balanced opinion rather than ramping, hence my posts and hence the mention of PM1.

JJS, chill out, no offence intended - all my posts are posted with a smile on my face (except those relating to a poor SP and lack of signed contracts, maybe).

greekman - 11 May 2006 14:39 - 16465 of 27111

Ok,

Thanks to both for getting back to me without having a go.

EWRobson - 11 May 2006 15:26 - 16466 of 27111

Interesting: the first commercial Greenseal machine in 8 weeks, say end July; current ASDA exclusivity ends 31st July (I believe); so both coincide. Promise of additional 2 months give end September. Also gives time to set up additional contracts based on deliverables. Essentially a year behind and it seems that the idea of retrofitting has gone by the board? Can they pick up the deliveries according to the earlier projections - may be. I have the feeling that matters are coming out well for SEO: they are less exposed compared with what might have been; ASDA have been extremely patient; there has clearly been sufficient proof of efficacy to draw in Walmart. The lessons will have been patient but not costly - compared wioth those of us who beleived their expectations. I actually don't put it down to hype but, as acknowledged, to naivete. They just haven't moved in this sort of 'dirty' market. Fortunately for them, and us, the early promise brought Biotech into the fold and we are now looking at potential which appears to dwarf Greenseal. I accept I came back in too early but now comfortable that the sp has bottomed out and that a significant move forward will happen and probably in next three months or so.

Eric

Eric,

The main question for me in the shortest term, is whether Grampian Foods will now order 40 or 50 machines, as they are obviously happy enough with their machine(s) to allow Walmart to view them, check the quality of the output, and question the staff.

I have asked Stanelco if they can clarify when the ASDA exclusivity will expire, and I will let you know if they get back with anything definate.

oblomov - 11 May 2006 16:13 - 16468 of 27111

JJS,

Just one final post on PM1 then I'll let it go. Just so you know why I have the opinion of him I have and what he's capable of, have a look at this thread, read it carefully and then you may view him differently. No need to comment.

Looking at L2 we will be lucky if this finishes level

JJS - 11 May 2006 16:25 - 16470 of 27111

Oblomov,

Thanks but no thanks, anyone think it was your job to dig dirt on PM1, get a life !

JJS - 11 May 2006 16:25 - 16471 of 27111

Greekman,

How is L2 ?

oblomov - 11 May 2006 16:35 - 16472 of 27111

JJS,

It is you who have continuously bought up PM1, not me. I've made my posts to balance your blind praise of him. If you want the truth, read the post. If not, dont. I'm not 'digging the dirt', I'm just trying to say dont believe all he writes and please dont cut and paste it here as if its gospel because it isn't necessarily - we can go to his site if we want to read him, you dont need you to act as his press secretary.

JJS - 11 May 2006 16:40 - 16473 of 27111

Oblomov,

Now you are lying.

You started all this by insinuating I am PM, I responded by backing his research. You continued slagging him off.

Drop it and get a life !

JJS - 11 May 2006 16:41 - 16474 of 27111

Greekman,

Back to the topic of Stanelco, what do you make of the number of small trades this afternoon ?

greekman - 11 May 2006 16:44 - 16475 of 27111

It blipped down .25p just after I posted, and then blipped back up to level, then down again. At official close it showed....Bid 13p....Ask 13.25p. The mid price now ( at 1636hrs ) is 13p so .25p down. Other info on close was Buy orders....731,261....Sell orders....726,760 so fairly even. So the official closing mid price of 13.00 was the closing Bid price.

greekman - 11 May 2006 16:47 - 16476 of 27111

Re the small trades. Not sure as been in and out all day. Looking at L2 it looks just like an order ( or several) being filled when any shares came available at a certain set price. They all appear to have been automated deals.

garyble - 11 May 2006 16:51 - 16477 of 27111

Oblo,

You, I and most know that PM1 has his cronies and in their eyes he walks on water! Some on the other hand would deem him a floater!!

Anyway, I commend him for his research and energy. He devotes a considerable time to SEO and from his actions {I'm no shrink} he could appear to be somewhat obsessive.

I also suspect that either he still contributes to various BBs or the odd follower happens to be a parrot-like kindred spirit!

Fortunately for PM1, SEO will do very well and he will be vindicated to an extent, albeit his character leaves much to be desired when challenged.

oblomov - 11 May 2006 18:48 - 16478 of 27111

Yes, Gary.

Anyway, enough of this, JJS is very sensitive on the subject of PM1 , so we'd best drop it. I didn't mean to upset him so.

I am lying, JJS, its uncanny how you knew that. Flat out.

oblomov - 11 May 2006 22:38 - 16479 of 27111

To more serious matters - an interesting interview here with H. Lee Scott - Walmart CEO - last month, which gives an insight into the 'Green' path Walmart are taking. I dont think its been posted before.
