THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

ooo i bet that's cold. do you blow it, first, to warm it up?

chocolat - 18 Oct 2005 23:51 - 1650 of 81564

Now that's a culinary secret.

bosley - 19 Oct 2005 00:06 - 1651 of 81564

madam, you are a tease of the highest order. first, you offer me your recipe book and then you talk about culinary secrets!!! shocking.

jimmy b - 19 Oct 2005 10:12 - 1652 of 81564

Lordy Lordy ,we are taking a beating today...

bosley - 19 Oct 2005 12:53 - 1653 of 81564

i think everything is taking a beating today, jimmy. i've got a sea of red on my watchlist.

gallick - 19 Oct 2005 12:59 - 1654 of 81564

Why do shares tend to rise more slowly (but hopefully more steadily), but when they go down, they get hammered down - or is it my imagination?

Bugz - 19 Oct 2005 13:02 - 1655 of 81564

LOL Gallick-So true. Well it feels like that. Hey, if you have a skill picking out red ones, start trading short CFDs!

driver - 19 Oct 2005 13:11 - 1656 of 81564

Who said shorts.

jimmy b - 19 Oct 2005 13:45 - 1657 of 81564

hewittalan6 - 19 Oct 2005 14:03 - 1659 of 81564

God its a dismal day on the markets today. Lets all go round Bazas and get pi55ed up tonight to celebrate his birthday. Nothing too dramatic, just a few fag burns in his carpets, a load of comatose drunks on his lawn and a sock drawer full of Castlemaine. Typical party, really.
What about it Baza? Gotta be better than a candlelit romantic dinner at a superb fish restaurant, with the trouble and strife?
Alan

mickeyskint - 19 Oct 2005 14:08 - 1660 of 81564

The candle lit dinner would be better if you took someone elses wife. Has anyone got blue on there screen. I'm getting a sore bum today.

MS

hewittalan6 - 19 Oct 2005 14:10 - 1661 of 81564

MS,
You really should be careful asking about blue on screens on this thread and then saying you have a sore bum. I know exactly what you mean but some on here might just take that the wrong way and subject you to weeks of abuse and pillory.
I, of course, wouldn't dream of it!!
Alan

jimmy b - 19 Oct 2005 14:21 - 1662 of 81564

Blue screen ,,sore bum ,,ooooh risky...

jimmy b - 19 Oct 2005 15:12 - 1663 of 81564

What a bad day , this should cheer us up.

bhunt1910 - 19 Oct 2005 15:17 - 1664 of 81564

You mean - you got carpets - did not realise I was mixing with the upper classes on this board.

You are very welcome to stay the night as well if you like. Me the wife and the kids and gransdon will share the bedroom - if you dont mind sleeping in the scullery. But dont lay across the toilet door otherwise no one will be able to empty their potties in the morning.

C U later

jimmy b - 19 Oct 2005 15:21 - 1665 of 81564

This is tonight girl early ,i'm out of here ...

hewittalan6 - 19 Oct 2005 15:26 - 1666 of 81564

Thats it then, all round to Bazas tonight.
Volunteers to organise the party essentials. I have made a list, so just let Baza know what you are taking along;
Sausage rolls
Twiglets
Marijuana
Several Thai hookers
14 kegs of Watneys Red Barrel (per person)
Dodgy pickled onions and cheese on cocktail sticks tastefully stuck into half a melon, decorated in tin foil
Very cheap wine that even an alcholic thinks is below them (Tesco specialise in it)
CD of Black Lace's Greatest Hits
Packet of post-it notes to label the bodies so the cabbie knows where to drop them
Mars bar in case Baza knows Marriane Faithfull

Think thats everything.
Not forgotten anything have I?
Alan
