RTD - Why? (RTD)

Nitefly - 15 Sep 2003 10:55

Why are we again at 10.5p bid?

It doesn't add up...

Good Results + Strong buying pre results + Christmas online buying soon = Price drop

Then again some companies that have debt for equity hanging in the balance, poor results and bankruptcy around the corner and they go up!

Why sell now at a loss?

Wont that be a kick in the teeth when we see 13.5p 14p again!

Best of luck all.

MillionDollarMan - 02 Nov 2004 11:20 - 1650 of 2406

You guys are funny. It went up from 13p to 20p. I call that a fairly decent rise! Why didn't you get out? I guess you will ride it down in hope that it will go back up...

Greed is a bitch!

Douggie - 02 Nov 2004 11:22 - 1651 of 2406

too true MDM !!!;o\

Fred1new - 02 Nov 2004 13:31 - 1652 of 2406

Yep. But if I sold at what price would I buy in again!!! Watch and wait although B/S is not impressive.

Fundamentalist - 02 Nov 2004 13:34 - 1653 of 2406

Fred - by B/S do you mean balance sheet ? if so why not impressive?

parveen1 - 02 Nov 2004 13:36 - 1654 of 2406

Fundamentalist

I think he means buying v selling

Fundamentalist - 02 Nov 2004 13:37 - 1655 of 2406

right - thanks parveen

Douggie - 02 Nov 2004 14:31 - 1656 of 2406

Hi Fred1 feeling a bit better?? :o))

a year sitting here watching learned nowt about when to sell (red face or what);o\

Fred1new - 02 Nov 2004 15:10 - 1657 of 2406

PArveen Correct. PRice is not relating to B and S. Maybe everybody is awaiting the Kerry Bush Show. Although I am getting better I still tend to Buy to quickly and Sell to slowly. That is why I am a big fat B. But I have started a diet. (Well really started thinking about it!!)

overgrowth - 02 Nov 2004 21:51 - 1658 of 2406

Buying support is still strong on the dips folks, not surprising given the news.

Even derampers trying to get the price down to buy in cheap have little to say against RTD.

RTD's profile is growing daily in the US (with a few press articles around) and it definitely looks as though there is some institutional interest in the background in the UK.

Douggie - if you're going to play "ace trader" I'd hang around until the 27-28p mark if you want to hold short term, medium term hold for 40-50p and long term 70-80p (and let's hope RTD don't get taken over before then!). Alternatively you could trade the dips, though you'll need to be out and back in quickly.

Douggie - 03 Nov 2004 09:09 - 1659 of 2406

morning ;o)

Fundamentalist - 03 Nov 2004 10:08 - 1660 of 2406

Still wishing you had sold douggie ?

Fred1new - 03 Nov 2004 10:39 - 1661 of 2406

Douggie aren't you a lucky boy. Still some distance to go. Intraday bars look promising but a little more volume would improve my feelings. B/S 5/2. W/see

Douggie - 03 Nov 2004 12:14 - 1662 of 2406

Fund. nope wish I'd sold & bought & sold again today @ 21p !!!!!!! love the idea of in/out trades haven't the bottle for it could'v made a lot of cash this last 9 months ;o\

Douggie, hindsight Is a wonderful thing.I have tried ducking in and out of shares and found it very easy to lose money that way. I now make a lot of money through "sensible investing" I bought RTD at 7.5 pence and I am not
to bothered about short term fluctuations I am in theese long term. Good luck
to all the short term traders who are smart enough to make it pay,as for me
I will stick with what I do best. (making money long term.)

Roy

my sentiments exactly (ps nice buy price - i paid 10p for mine)

Douggie - 03 Nov 2004 14:32 - 1665 of 2406

my ave. is 11.25p which left a lot o scope for profitable trading ( especially with the benefit of hindsight) what I we need is foresight which I find hard to come by, heres hoping it won't be needed fo another 10p at least ;o\

bristlelad - 03 Nov 2004 17:28 - 1666 of 2406
