Hi Fred1new,
Thanks for the tip about Jim Slaters book. I might read it. I've read Alvin Hall's book, money for life and it is just up my street as simple but with humour. Actually I am a newcomer to this board and have been reading the threads for over a month now. I've got wrist strain from scrolling through some of the threads in which I an interested, some of which I am reading for the amusement factor like this one, some for actual info as the board I frequent doesn't always have as much info as this one. Not a newcomer to shares although I wish I was as nearly every share I can buy now is cheaper than when I bought them. But I guess that is where the discipline comes in, not selling when the market sentiment goes against the company but the fundamentals are still good.
Anyway the bit I wrote about Barclays not letting me trade is actually true. so as quite a few posters have written I couldn't touch it with a barge pole even if tried

I don't hold these shares and pointed out a long time ago that I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. If ever they do live up to what they have promised for years I might peruse them again, but the cash burn has been colossal. The TA and charts in my opinion are dreadful.

Huge spread of 100% usually done to discourage buying. I wonder why. all imho..
But in this case even with 197 million shares in issue...it is difficult to buy a conservative amount of 500,000 shares at 0.30 pence.
Only 2 brokers etrade and TDWaterhouse allow DMR to be tradeable.

I would have thought anyone buying 500,000 @ 0.30p was more reckless than conservative. Why lose 50% of your cash at a stroke?

Typical unprofessional comment without a clue of what's going on. DMR is only available to trade with 3 brokers....etrade, TD Waterhouse, and Fasttrade. MMs haven't slapped a 50% spread on for nothing....and Geoffrey Hoodless (Director of DMR) has not invested 100,000 pounds at 0.50 pence for nothing. You'll be lucky to get a decent quantity at even 0.30 pence....MMs are already quoting 0.40 pence and higher for bigger buy orders. They know what's coming.
AGM and Interims in September. Not too far a wait.

Yes indeed.
A huge purchase of just over 200.
A very big buyer about.
Surely a takeover bid is imminent.

Finished 11.00% up at 0.20-0.30 pence.....250,000 buy came through at a premium price at 0.35 pence......seems MMs are ready to charge way above 0.35 pence for stock.

0.35 pence on the offer should come early tomorrow as MMs have no stock to sell at the 0.30 pence price.
