Hilary; You forgot to close the table so I have put it in for you

hilary - 07 Jun 2004 13:33 - 1650 of 11056

Oh no you've not, Mike.

:o)

Bullshare - 07 Jun 2004 13:37 - 1651 of 11056

MightyMicro - 07 Jun 2004 14:14 - 1652 of 11056

Daisy and Doris: cut out the dirty talk, this is serious thread.

foale - 07 Jun 2004 15:28 - 1653 of 11056

Short Cable

foale - 08 Jun 2004 08:33 - 1654 of 11056

Decision time for Cable...
any higher and a successful challenge of the highs on the cards
then quickly onto 1:8500+

or decide that is too much..and back to 18370 then 18320

anyway believe that its going to go soon one way or the other

Beeblebrox - 08 Jun 2004 08:35 - 1655 of 11056

up, david...

hilary - 08 Jun 2004 08:53 - 1656 of 11056

Well I'm experimenting with a change in strategy while we're in this sideways market. It'll probably involve more trades for fewer pips at a time but I've got a living to make and I need to move with the times.

Only time will tell how the strategy pans out, but I'm long from 7am.

foale - 08 Jun 2004 09:00 - 1657 of 11056

Well Hilary its worked for me..
I am long also after getting stopped out of my short...

Come on FX...I moved over my efforts to you
because equities were getting so boring...
dont try and impersonate that market..

...perhaps just in time to get long

You guys will need to watch the US calendar. Because of the market close for Reagan's funeral on Friday, PPI is rescheduled for Thursday. I don't know when Michigan and Trade Balance is rescheduled for yet.

Beeblebrox - 08 Jun 2004 12:38 - 1660 of 11056

please explain;

oil up over $39 today, and $ gets stronger ?

must've missed something.....

foale - 08 Jun 2004 13:01 - 1661 of 11056

Well if indeed we are range trading...this 18380-5 is a good place to reverse

18370 is the well supported uptrend line on the 1 hour
good since 3rd

added to my long on a tight stop...and now praying

However the bearish engulfing pattern on the 4 hourly
looking very worrying

hilary - 08 Jun 2004 13:27 - 1662 of 11056

Bit surprised that it failed to make a significant break higher this morning, but my new strategy said reverse at 18422 so I did. Who am I to argue with the system?

foale - 08 Jun 2004 13:52 - 1663 of 11056

above 1.8410
and highs becomes a "possibility" again

1.8430+ and I will be adding to my long

This could still be a prelude to the 'significant break higher'
Hilary mentiond in the earlier post

We have been in this 18300 to 18470 range since the end of last month
a big 'test' of support and resistance not out of the question b4 it breaks it to the upside

8 hour chart...showing candle 'tails' commensurate with getting ready to push higher by the end of the week

Staying long.. for the moment

Tellon - 08 Jun 2004 13:59 - 1664 of 11056

Afternoon All,

Short Cable from 1.8390 Stop at 550 from Sunday myself. Holding for a break bellow 300/295 level. Obvioulsy out and Long at 550.

foale - 08 Jun 2004 14:33 - 1665 of 11056

getting my "pips squeezed" atm....
usually a sign of a reversal..

Well done Hilary and Tellon

stubbornly added a few more to long at 18372

foale - 08 Jun 2004 16:00 - 1666 of 11056

Been out..just as well...

However...depsite the fall which looks like a selling climax to me
coupled with the near perfect Doji formed on the one hour
means I am staying long

Tellon - 08 Jun 2004 20:47 - 1667 of 11056

There is a perfect "double doji" on the daily.

The current candle is bearish engulfing the doji.

The double doji is also the fib support the rsi support and line supprt.

If the candle continues tomorrow and breaks the double doji I will make a lot of money. The market will explode down.

Tellon - 08 Jun 2004 20:47 - 1668 of 11056

Also BOE will not raise rates Thursday. Buy the rumour sell the news.
