hilary - 21 Oct 2004 13:32 - 16512 of 23498

What's Chav?

Out of interest, Dazzling D, how much were your Nikes? We go to the Nike shop in Calais. I think they do a lot of samples which you don't see in UK shops. Prices seem seriously cheaper than in the UK.

So Jeffie's son wears a Dutch Cap, eh? No comment.

:o)

daves dazzlers - 21 Oct 2004 13:39 - 16513 of 23498

H ,45,there are 115 in jjb,95 soccer city.

stockbunny - 21 Oct 2004 13:40 - 16514 of 23498

LOL err yes that one had crossed my mind too Hils - possibly
it doesn't translate quite the same way in men-speak!!
All requests for explanations please direct to Hils as the originator
of the comment ;>)

Jeffie don't worry you're safe, meat will be available for you!
That's Amber's diet plan, not the menu for the wider eating public
of the tea-rooms.

Sorry - afternoon Dave!!

optomistic - 21 Oct 2004 13:45 - 16515 of 23498

Glad to be back indoors it's rough out there! Good healthy menu Bunny, must bring it back ttt when Amber gets back. Reckon she is going to be hard going with the diet!! LOL.
Jeff, did some pickled cabbage 2 weeks ago, not tried it in cheese sandwhiches yet, will do next time.

hilary - 21 Oct 2004 13:48 - 16516 of 23498

45??? I won't ask which lorry they fell off, Dazzler. That's about how much they are in France.

daves dazzlers - 21 Oct 2004 13:52 - 16517 of 23498

H,leave it out,my friend is the manager of a nike outlet at cheshire oaks.

stockbunny - 21 Oct 2004 13:54 - 16518 of 23498

It certainly is rough out there! Sun is shining beautifully but it's
a close call between getting the washing dry and chasing it round
the garden!! Never mind multi-tasking, it's a multi-pegging day!!

jeffmack - 21 Oct 2004 14:00 - 16519 of 23498

DD
Dont forget, dressed head to toe in nike is very Chav

daves dazzlers - 21 Oct 2004 14:03 - 16520 of 23498

Sounds like you know about this maccer !!

stockbunny - 21 Oct 2004 14:05 - 16521 of 23498

When we lived in Notts. 'chav' was used a lot - I remember the kids
coming home with it as a vocab. addition not long after we moved
up there - I hadn't heard it until then - has it gone national now?
Oh has our Jeff relocated from the SE corner?

jeffmack - 21 Oct 2004 14:11 - 16522 of 23498

Bunny / DD
Read it in the Sun.... so it must be true

hilary - 21 Oct 2004 14:15 - 16523 of 23498

That's obviously where I'm going wrong. I don't take the Currant Bun. They don't do Chav in the Torygraph.

:o)

jj50 - 21 Oct 2004 14:20 - 16524 of 23498

Afternoon all. Any cheese sandwiches left? Or maybe I should be following amber's diet plan as she certainly has no need to be on one :-)

How are you today stockbunny? Certainly blowing here today too.

Chav, also known in lowland Scotland as a NED, i.e. Non educated delinquent! Much spoken of on that Radio 5 Live prog.!

daves dazzlers - 21 Oct 2004 14:32 - 16525 of 23498

Maccer, cheek . Never bought a red top in my life ,,strictly a mail & express man, barrow boy. Never judge people by your own standards . Maccer have you seen that new dvd out yet football factory,is that right its about your mob ?

jeffmack - 21 Oct 2004 15:00 - 16526 of 23498

DD
Heard its good, but not seen it. Bought Van Helsing last week, shite.

amberjane - 21 Oct 2004 15:08 - 16527 of 23498

I'm back! Right a few dont's for when you see 5 mins of sunshine

Don't
forget the forecast of rain
wear your fur jacket
forget high wind warning
look up whilst under a conker tree
wear cream trousers with a dog
....forget white chocolate for comfort!

right so i'm now the owner of a coat which looks like it just
swam the channel & trousers that have to go to the cleaners.

But hey I've got Bunnys new menu to cheer me up...gulp

stockbunny - 21 Oct 2004 15:13 - 16528 of 23498

Hi JJ - I'm OK thanks, just chasing washing round the garden at
intervals LOL
How are you and yours?

Has the rain arrived over with you Amber? Oh dear...better go and try
and get the last of my washing in shortly then, cos with that wind out
there it would take long to traverse a couple of counties!!

amberjane - 21 Oct 2004 15:14 - 16529 of 23498

Rain? just a wee bit... and lightening as well-it's called timing i think!

Thanks Jennifer so kind, must have been the blue trouser suit though coz i really do need to
lose some weight, but then it was nearly 3 weeks ago you saw me, amazing how much
chocolate you can eat in 3 weeks!
