Has RDW appeared on your list. I've held it certificated for years and can't be bothered to sell it. It just seems to go on going on upwards, but looks like a buy on my charts today. Nice (little) dividend every so often and if you hold enough shares you get 1% discount off a new hutch.

Funny you should mention RDW ......... I've just finished my list for tomorrow and there it is along with WBY! As I recall, I did mention on this thread a little while back that it might be an idea to stock up with some housebuilders.

I don't know about stock up with housebuilders, bit of an iffy question at present. I do like to keep RDW though. It's one of my first buys from when they floated at 1.30 in May 94 I think, goodness that's last century.

Both RDW and WBY were up this afternoon and then John Macarthy abandoned his bid for MCTY and all the builders get walked down after that. RDW did regain it's bid towards close so I'm not too stressed by it and will stay long for now.

Phewwwwwww. I'm pooped. I've played nearly 3 hours of tennis today and I need a long cool drink now!

Good job Me bailed out of MCTY for just over 50% a week or so ago - in Me ISA too! Might get in again if the price really tanks - its only down 12% so far.
