THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Some of my ideas for a re shuffle.

Theresa May moved from Secretary of State to State for justice as if she succeeds in putting the same number of criminals in prison as she allows immigrants into the country, she will do a great job IE no criminals would ever be let out.

Kenneth Clarke swaps with Teresa May as if he succeeds in keeping the same number of immigrants out the country as he allows out of prisons, he will also do a great job IE no immigrants would ever be let in.

Damian Green Minister for Immigration moved anywhere

Vince Cable Secretary of State for Business (sic) moved anywhere, but further than Damian Green.

Philip Hammond Secretary of State for Defense moved to a boating lake in Mapplethorpe (just about his CV limit).

Iain Duncan Smith Secretary of State for Work and Pensions moved to a new department called State for work as most people no longer have pensions.

Any other suggestions out there.

Paul Mason ‏ @paulmasonnews

I understand Tsipras right now asking Venizelos to sign a letter cancelling PASOK's commitment to implement the bailout memorandum. #Greece

Skinny,

Please don't post such graphic news pictures of my countrymen/women trying to dodge the Greek Revenue Enforcement Department.
Its very upsetting!
Have you no compassion!

Yes folks, thats me in the safety gear.

Mind you the way things are going, the queues to jump will be longer than those at Heathrow.

And yet another one!!!!!!!!!!

Greek should give his parachute to another person.

He is accident prone enough to need one.

Where is my long knife?

=========

Just as another rhetorical remark overheard in the bar "if Greece goes down" so will the UK.

====

Merkel must be rejoicing in the Euro going down.

Osborne has just bought a bulk supply of nappies for the Cabinet!

Greekman, at least we might have Qatadar deported in the next few months/years. The whole process has cost this country in the region of £3million, so far, and even when we get rid of this guy we still have his wife and children living off our benefit system. For such a small island we seem to have loads of money to support all the immigrants who come to live here and on the other hand the old folks who have lived here all their lives have to fight for every penny they have earned to make their old age worth living.

TANKER - 09 May 2012 21:00 - 16627 of 81564

doodle well said deport them all we dont want them .
as for the rochdale sub humans and the telford ones and those in derby and more to come it is the fault of the gov .because they have done it because they hide behind
your racists because of my colour .the racist card as got to end.

Don't worry if you can't afford that £15m Ferrari of your dreams - just paint it on the garage door instead

doodlebug - 09 May 2012 23:11 - 16631 of 81564

aldwickk - very funny - I've been accused of lots of things in my life but ---------------Come to think of it, we don't have many Germans living in this country - probably something to do with too much rain and not enough deckchairs when the sun eventually does come out.

We're on a road to nowhere - Pasok's Venizelos in third bid for Greece coalition

Pasok leader Evangelos Venizelos will make a third effort to form a coalition government in Greece amid political turmoil following Sunday's elections.

So a new election in the summer then?
