... or England Saturday :-)

So bloody funny being Welsh and watching the "National" news at 6/10 build them up as World beaters ready for a fall .... no wonder Scotland want to leave the Union.

Dil - 18 Mar 2013 12:13 - 1669 of 6918

And as predicted ...... crash bang wallop :-)

Great weekend for Cardiff , beating Sheff Weds and Hull and Watford losing. 3 wins and 2 draws from our last 9 games should see us right.

Stan - 18 Mar 2013 12:35 - 1670 of 6918

Play-off specialists Cardiff manage only their 1 win in last 4 games.. Funny how some things can read differently -):

Dil - 18 Mar 2013 14:56 - 1671 of 6918

Forest the in form team , flying with 5 wins out of 5 I think.

What a cop out!

Callum McManaman escapes FA action over Haidara challenge

Wigan forward Callum McManaman has escaped retrospective action from the Football Association over his challenge on Newcastle defender Massadio Haidara.

Haidara was taken off on a stretcher in the Latics' 2-1 win but the FA cannot take "retrospective action" as an official saw the incident take place.

The governing body says it does not wish to "re-referee" matches.
But Newcastle managing director Derek Llambias claims the FA's disciplinary process is " not fit for purpose".

Dil - 19 Mar 2013 22:12 - 1676 of 6918

Is that right Stan that you haven't beaten them for 34 years ?

Be like winning the league if you ever do :-)

Stan - 20 Mar 2013 09:47 - 1677 of 6918

Absolutely not sir! Only played them in 8 seasons in that time.. a fabrication of the truth milord -):

Dil - 20 Mar 2013 10:03 - 1678 of 6918

14th April 1979 ...... must be etched on every Burnley fans mind :-)

Your derby looks to be as "lively" as ours with the gypo's.

Stan - 20 Mar 2013 10:16 - 1679 of 6918

I don't mind a bit of local rivalry but like all these things it does bring out some idiots unfortunately, at the end of it all 3 points is 3 points so not really concerned where they come from.

Dil - 21 Mar 2013 01:29 - 1680 of 6918

Good job with regards Blackburn :-)

LMA boss Richard Bevan 'embarrassed' by recent sackings

The League Managers' Association has described the number of sackings in football this season as "embarrassing".
LMA chief executive Richard Bevan said the number of departures is at a five-year high, following Michael Appleton's dismissal by Blackburn on Tuesday.
In total, 103 managers and coaches have lost their jobs in 2012-13.

We're doomed saved! Greg Dyke to replace David Bernstein as FA chairman

Former BBC director general Greg Dyke is set to be named chairman of the Football Association.

Dyke, who must stand down as Brentford chairman to take on the role, will take over from David Bernstein in July, subject to approval by the FA council.

Dil - 23 Mar 2013 12:19 - 1684 of 6918

Strachan needs 20 new players , this has to be the worst Scottish team ever.

Never have I seen Wales so comletely dominate a team away from home in a competitive match in my life time.

skinny - 23 Mar 2013 13:02 - 1685 of 6918

And that's a long, long time! :-)
