Bioprogress is a stock I have been in and out of quite a few times since it floated in May but not much mention here on the Investors' Room. Does anyone else follow this stock. I see it is up 1.5p today and a few good buyers seem to have appeared.

It may be OK for you to wait around for 5years but some of us are already on extended visiting visas. I would like to see the turn around a little quicker. Just been the big city for 5 days and returned home to see TEP and BPRG decided to punish me for sitting in traffic jams and trying to enjoy myself for a 5 days. Thank the lord for RTD. There is some joy
I also I think in a few months there will be a few more smiles on BPRG holders faces. But with the progress of the share price over the last few months the punters must be a little anxious of buying in. A little more stability with the price at about 150p would do me the world of good. I am an pessimistic optimist.

me to fred.
Yeah, i've got RTD too and its doing great. But again think it will do u much better if u holdat least another year minumum. However life is all about making decisions. God, if these stockbrokers that r so called professionals keep getting it wrong last few years then how can any of us be expected to get things spot on.

Traders left due to lack of movement, I guess. Great things BB's - as soon as you post things change. ;-))
Haven't watched for a week or two now, but note it flirting with low 60's again. Hmm.

Patience. I have little, but have bought again around 66p. Shortly I will be applying for a place on the board as a major share holder. Are there any views you would like me to place before them??

As I said,
BPRG's sp has always been heavily influenced by 'hype' and will continue to be in the future.
Its time to sit back and wait for NEWS and financial info
its time to put BPRG on the back burner (for now)
remember many on this string are (even at 60p) sitting on paper gains of 30-40%
and whilst its on the back burner
cast your eye on CFN 132p (much more room for growth in this little gem)
good luck all,
Dil

Is this up or down on the year ?
I doubt if long term holders have done very well this year but short termers may have made a packet.
Traders dream , investors nightmare.

On 31st Demember 2004, BPRG closed at 67p.
In between it's been a helluva ride. Buy and hold such a stock?
No way! ;-))

i'm buying and holdingfor 5 years as i'm leaving this country for good!
If you hold for 5 years then u dont need to pay CGT and i'm sure BPRG will be more than 70p by Jan 2010. In any event i have shares in many more companies and am already in CGT territory with 1 of them right now so am in a relaxed situation about holding most of them long term.

Even if CGT hurts, a profit is still a profit. Creating losses out of winners to avoid it is not sensible trading. I think one in three small companies fail and I think few last more than 9years as company in its own name.
Mind I am holding on to this one for a good while yet

I am on a loss at present in BPRG but i have faith in them. And i could sell my shares in all my holdings to make sure i dont pay CGT this year but i aint as i am making a fortune from one of my shares and believe will make even more in 5 years time when i dont need to pay CGT.
You say 1 in 3 companies fails, wow. Didnt realise hundreds of companies go bankrupt every year.

Fail doesn't necessarily mean bankrupt, probably many just cease to be. (I once used a company name to help to protect the Name for something I was doing. I made no returns and later removed it from listing.)

Does anyone know when we can expect details of the damages awarded to BPRG ? What is the normal time scale for such matters ?

Patience. Bought a few more as wrote on another thread. There were some large size buys yesterday against smaller size sells. I would think stp losses being triggered and undue fears. They still have enough cash in hand to take them into profit. DYOR.

Was watching BPRG the past few days. Very strange price action much of the time. The volatility and volume subsided greatly in the past month, which may imply the traders have lost interest, but we'll see. I for one don't see much to shoot at with it, but continue to watch.
Best of luck Fred and others for 2005 after an amazing 2004.
