RTD - Why? (RTD)

Nitefly - 15 Sep 2003 10:55

Why are we again at 10.5p bid?

It doesn't add up...

Good Results + Strong buying pre results + Christmas online buying soon = Price drop

Then again some companies that have debt for equity hanging in the balance, poor results and bankruptcy around the corner and they go up!

Why sell now at a loss?

Wont that be a kick in the teeth when we see 13.5p 14p again!

Best of luck all.

Interesting post thanks to Amarcou on advfn:

"Back to tech100.

282m shares of RTD give a cap. of just over 59m at 21p.

Someone said that 90-94 positions are clustered at 62m which means RTD needs to be at 22.5p by 30th November to get a value of over 63m and get in at 89th position.

Of course other companies will move up also but its now becoming a certainty that we will be in there.

That is excellent news which together with what the company has been delivering makes RTD a screaming buy."

GB0009483487 RETAIL DECISIONS PLC GBX 606'690 125'052 180'468 TSV

606,690 shares went through virt-x and hence did not show up on the money-am trades page for RTD.

Official Volume for today closed at 5,970,542 + 606,690 = 6,577,232.

SueHelen - 03 Nov 2004 20:06 - 1671 of 2406

Target for tomorrow it to break 21 pence and get into the 22-23 pence range..we should be attacking the 27 pence resistance come end of next week.

Very Healthy Volume again in terms of the number of trades which closed at 191.

Today (correct figures) :

Buys = 3,730,629
Sells = 2,112,413
??? = trades that went through virt-x + others = 606,690 + 127,500 = 734,190.

May be just a treeshake by those naughty mms

Fundamentalist - 04 Nov 2004 10:26 - 1679 of 2406

Appears to be a very quick walkdown on little volume

overgrowth - 04 Nov 2004 21:01 - 1680 of 2406

It's good to see a small consolidation, shares that rise in a straight line tend to hit a sharp point and then fall quicker in an almost identical line very much to the point where they started.

The chart is starting to look very healthy, it would be handy to see some TA in the header, unfortunately it looks as though Nitefly is long gone.

Anyone fancy starting a new thread ? Perhaps with a more meaningful title like "Retail Decisions (RTD) - now a multibagger" or something similar.

The US markets are booming tonight (presumably non-farm payroll figures are expected to be good tomorrow), we should be in for a healthy uptrend in the FTSE tomorrow, and the Techmark ought to get hauled up as well - so in theory another "up" day for RTD on the cards.

Fred1new - 04 Nov 2004 21:39 - 1681 of 2406

What about Retail Non-Decisions as a header? American market is flying. For how long I wonder. Anyway should be a good day tomorrow for RTD.

Keep smiling Douggies [:+)

2Richard2 - 05 Nov 2004 16:22 - 1682 of 2406

Marked down today but it's interesting that the maximum online quantity to buy is 50,000 but to sell is 225,000

GINGERJIMMO - 05 Nov 2004 17:21 - 1683 of 2406

Anyone spot the cheeky 600,000 BUY that went through at the close? ;0)

Douggie - 05 Nov 2004 18:18 - 1684 of 2406

Ok so we are UP on the week........ ;o\

pachandl - 05 Nov 2004 20:07 - 1685 of 2406

For what it's worth (not much I know) IC have RTD as "fairly priced" on the basis of 30% increase since the big announcement and the fact that it is the Australian fuel business that is really contributing to "much of the improvement".

scotinvestor - 05 Nov 2004 20:10 - 1686 of 2406

IC is a bunch of poo. And thats being polite!!!!!!!

Fred1new - 05 Nov 2004 23:25 - 1687 of 2406
