Even if DMR only raised 400,000 from its current asset sale, its enough to keep the company in floatation for 8 years and stone deposits still equal 6p at last book value - Just because you can't see them at group level does not mean they don't exist - I'll stake my claim to my 200 tonnes of the finest granite and bowenite even if I have to go over to SA with a spoon.
The Bermudan listing could represent execptional value for the right company and for a clean established Bermudan shell in SA resources you could place a value of 2p on the listing alone excluding all assets.
DMR's turn-around has been a long time coming and these next few weeks and months will be the most interesting in its history IMO.

The value of a 'shell' company is not determined by tangible assets alone...there are many factors specifically with DMR that makes it interesting:
a) Listed in Bermuda - Exempt from tax burden at group level, all profits returned to group from subsiduaries are free of tax. The listing in Bermuda itself is IMO worth in the region of 1m - 2m given restrictions on new incorporations and logistics. You can count the number of shell bermudan listings on AIM on one hand, in fact I believe one finger would suffice
b) Listed in Bermuda - No individual holder outside of those directly linked to the company has to declare a holding %'age, this opens up the park to large international hedges and price volatility etc... Any reverse aquisition prospect is likely to have an explosive start.
c) Geoffrey Hoodless and Brian Moritz who have 10's of successful floatations and approx a combined 60 years plus of market experience between them are running the reversal proposals. Hoodless also holds 20m shares at average 0.5p and Moritz holds aroun 11m with a much higher average.
d) DMR does still own all the stone deposits which had a historic value of 14m plus and were once valued by the market at 30m. One of these mines is for Bowenite a rare mineral and is one of only a handful in the world, Bowenite has been linked to uses in the field of nano-techonology.
e) The primary aquisition target objective has been narrowed to the field of natural resources, which includes the highly lucrative areas of oil, gas, gold, diamonds, other precious metals
f) DMR through its wholley owned subsiduary Natural Stone Industries still holds the valuable 'old order mining rights', which give any reversal prospect the added bonus of one less time/cost delay if the chosen destination for the operation is SA
g) The company is very 'frugal' with senstitive information. The prospect of an aquistion was identified almost 2 years ago September 2004 - "The directors are also seeking a corporate deal to inject a new business into
the Group. Dimension Resources remains debt free and in a good position to
complete such a transaction. Shareholders will be kept informed of developments.". There have been no false dawns or broken deals regarding weaker prospects. After nearly two years of Moritz and Hoodless keeping an eye open you can be assured that when the prospect arrives it will be the cream of the no doubt 100's of prospects they and their respective associates have been able to review.

A new high for the price has been created on each big rise over the last 12 months....current rise should take the price beyond the last closing high of 0.75 pence and intraday high of 1 pence which happened in early May 2006.
