Bioprogress (BPRG)

scorpion - 13 Aug 2003 13:54

Bioprogress is a stock I have been in and out of quite a few times since it floated in May but not much mention here on the Investors' Room. Does anyone else follow this stock. I see it is up 1.5p today and a few good buyers seem to have appeared.

As I said,
BPRG's sp has always been heavily influenced by 'hype' and will continue to be in the future.

Its time to sit back and wait for NEWS and financial info

its time to put BPRG on the back burner (for now)

remember many on this string are (even at 60p) sitting on paper gains of 30-40%

and whilst its on the back burner

cast your eye on CFN 132p (much more room for growth in this little gem)

good luck all,

Is this up or down on the year ?

I doubt if long term holders have done very well this year but short termers may have made a packet.

Traders dream , investors nightmare.

Fred1new - 04 Jan 2005 16:44 - 1675 of 2372

Is this the beginning of BPRG's long climb back. Good number of large buys this PM.

Good Volumes

Big Al - 04 Jan 2005 21:07 - 1676 of 2372

On 31st December 2003, BPRG closed at 67p.
On 31st Demember 2004, BPRG closed at 67p.

In between it's been a helluva ride. Buy and hold such a stock?

No way! ;-))

scotinvestor - 04 Jan 2005 22:11 - 1677 of 2372

i'm buying and holdingfor 5 years as i'm leaving this country for good!

If you hold for 5 years then u dont need to pay CGT and i'm sure BPRG will be more than 70p by Jan 2010. In any event i have shares in many more companies and am already in CGT territory with 1 of them right now so am in a relaxed situation about holding most of them long term.

Fred1new - 05 Jan 2005 00:00 - 1678 of 2372

Even if CGT hurts, a profit is still a profit. Creating losses out of winners to avoid it is not sensible trading. I think one in three small companies fail and I think few last more than 9years as company in its own name.

Mind I am holding on to this one for a good while yet

scotinvestor - 05 Jan 2005 00:16 - 1679 of 2372

I am on a loss at present in BPRG but i have faith in them. And i could sell my shares in all my holdings to make sure i dont pay CGT this year but i aint as i am making a fortune from one of my shares and believe will make even more in 5 years time when i dont need to pay CGT.

You say 1 in 3 companies fails, wow. Didnt realise hundreds of companies go bankrupt every year.

Fred1new - 05 Jan 2005 12:41 - 1680 of 2372

Fail doesn't necessarily mean bankrupt, probably many just cease to be. (I once used a company name to help to protect the Name for something I was doing. I made no returns and later removed it from listing.)

Helly - 05 Jan 2005 15:03 - 1681 of 2372

Does anyone know when we can expect details of the damages awarded to BPRG ? What is the normal time scale for such matters ?

Kivver - 07 Jan 2005 15:17 - 1682 of 2372

how low can it go. up to well over 1 one moment and rising then sudenly loses half its value. who said shares could be profitable? lol

Fred1new - 07 Jan 2005 16:18 - 1683 of 2372

Patience. Bought a few more as wrote on another thread. There were some large size buys yesterday against smaller size sells. I would think stp losses being triggered and undue fears. They still have enough cash in hand to take them into profit. DYOR.

Kivver - 07 Jan 2005 16:34 - 1684 of 2372

hope your right because i am well down!

Big Al - 07 Jan 2005 17:42 - 1685 of 2372

Was watching BPRG the past few days. Very strange price action much of the time. The volatility and volume subsided greatly in the past month, which may imply the traders have lost interest, but we'll see. I for one don't see much to shoot at with it, but continue to watch.

Best of luck Fred and others for 2005 after an amazing 2004.

Kivver - 12 Jan 2005 13:38 - 1686 of 2372

Since they WON the court case brbg have bombed and stanelco have flown, things in the world of shares hardly make sense..

AdieH - 12 Jan 2005 13:52 - 1687 of 2372

Very true words kivver, it dont make sense, glad i bought into SEO also.

ssanebs - 13 Jan 2005 01:35 - 1688 of 2372

BPRG's trading statement said that they would announce deals taht would affect 2005 in the next few weeks, that was on 18/11/04. No news has given weakness to the stock, but axm will announce re the soluleaves deal in china by the end of the month

Jumpin - 18 Jan 2005 13:00 - 1689 of 2372

Chart looks like good support forming. RSI looking interesting

AdieH - 18 Jan 2005 13:35 - 1690 of 2372

Can you expand on that Jumpin, whys is that because the price has been reasonably stable for a while?

Jumpin - 18 Jan 2005 13:40 - 1691 of 2372

More or less and in narrow range so that is indicating a big move shortly, a close above 70p on good vol would be sign for further gains

AdieH - 18 Jan 2005 13:48 - 1692 of 2372

Thanks, ets hope so I for one would like to see a return to 1.00 then i'll be back in blue...
