Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Non streaming pages are behind the times again - this is at least the third time in the last two weeks.

I don't know what you did last night, but I've been waiting 20 odd minutes for some of my Terminal views to load properly. I don't think I've got your e-mail address, but I'll send a screenshot to Ian's address ...... can you check his inbox in a few minutes time please?

I didnt change anything which would (or could) affect terminal.

Have you tried restarting your browsers and/or your computer (I know it is a pain, but unfortunately with MS windows it is often the cure to make of its problems.)

When I open the Trader's thread sometimes I get a little impatient and prematurely scroll down to the bottom before all the loading has happened.

What then happens is I see hundreds of vertical coloured lines. I had supposed it's all the chart section components still loading so slowly at the top. After a while - plop - all loaded OK.

But why does it only happen sometimes and not every time? I use a 56k plop modem, by the way.

Ah well. From time to time these things come along to try us, eh?

I'm rebooting as I type on a different machine. It's taking an eternity to log-in and load. Other websites are fine.

DMGT down 0.8% but showing red in % Gainers list (I can send a screenshot if you wish). Charts all seem to be straight lines (if only). Other machine only partly loaded following my last post.

There is a problem with the intraday charts, only a minority of the database points seem to be being recorded so that the chart ends up as a small number of line segments, e.g. UKX.

Speed on the BB very fast but login a bit slow and occasional very slow page loads. I've been having these for a week or so but to be honest thought it might be my router.

Uh-oh. BB getting much slower here now.

Everything has been very slowtoday and unable to get charts most of the time. Just gone into the site again to see if it's any different.

The load on our main DB is now 'normal' and as such the site should be much faster.

We are going to be putting in place more code changes hopefully today which should improve things accross the board.

If I dont respond immediately to postings here, please dont worry, I will eventually, im currently on my own and am playing with the servers :)
