Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Just got back from golf, sad news folks baby magpie deceased, is no more etc. flat on it's back. Think the heat and lack of parental care, 24 degrees in Aberdeen today had finally done for the poor little blighter, certainly doesn't appear to have been chewed by cats anyway so that's one blessing. I'll tell the wife it flew off :O)

Probably radiation sickness. The background radiation in Aberdeen is twice the UK norm due to the granit.

You'll never believe this guys, just been watering potato plants heard this rustling noise and lo and behold another baby magpie, this one is a lot more spritely though and slightly bigger than his sister or brother (deceased). Obviously this one is gifted with a bit more nous sheltering under the plants. Decided to let nature take it's course, has escaped unharmed so far without my assistance so leaving it be, fingers crossed. :O) Dont know about the radiation effect in Aberdeen Haystack, just seems to be raining baby magpies this time of year.

That's a pretty small allowance bearing in mind the cost of staying in London for a night. It is all triviality.
