Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

When I told my 19 year old daughter to go and vote last Thursday she asked if she could go the next day cos she was a bit busy Thursday !

When i was 18 i wasn't to aware about politics, i just voted the
way my parents/grandparents voted, thankfully I learnt over the years,
and how those who were supposed to be there to represent you are
quite the opposite and are there in most cases for their own benefits
or ideology/projects...

Dil You should have added an incentive for your Daughter's consideration.. like you ain't interested in being a bank of mum & dad going forward if she don't vote -):

The t/o in the European elections are usually between 32.5%-38.5%.
The t/o in 2014 was 35.6%

This is more comparable to the Scottish referendum, where turnout was 84.6%.
