localsonly - 18 Mar 2005 08:39 - 171 of 305

apparently the advertising campaign is kicking off big time. This is a small company trying to become a lot bigger a lot faster, apparently the adverts are some what thought provoking (some would say a tad politically incorrect but they are lefty tree huggers!). Anyway, good momentum upwards today, looks like the sellers have been exhausted and increased buying will push this forward next week towards results.

kuchcyk - 18 Mar 2005 15:35 - 172 of 305

Does anyone have any information about the directors?

Why is there such an emphasis on Indo-asian and Afro-caribbean customers - look at the useful links section of the website.

It's great to see other than white fces in advertising, but this is verging on the patronising and could have the opposite effect - any asians or afro-carribeans out there who have a view? Or anyone else for that matter.

hlyeo98 - 20 Mar 2005 20:50 - 173 of 305

Sparkling results and not much share movement? Hmmmmmm. Was the good news already in the price? Any thoughts on movement of the sp over the next week or so?

tallsiii - 23 Mar 2005 10:18 - 179 of 305

Yes they were sparkling, but I think it is the fear in the whole market today that is holding them back.

mickeyskint - 23 Mar 2005 10:22 - 180 of 305

Cracking results and look at the price. Don't you just love the MM's.

superrod - 23 Mar 2005 14:51 - 183 of 305

dont forget that this was languishing for AAAAAAAAGES around 4p, then a sharp 50% rise. my guess is that the results ( good though they were ) are priced in.

hlyeo98 - 24 Mar 2005 08:41 - 184 of 305

EVS is a BUY at this stage - 5.8p considering its huge potential and its recent institutional buying by Legal & General and its great first half results and profit.

andysmith - 29 Mar 2005 20:30 - 185 of 305

Need the pro's and con's of this one folks, been pointed in this direction.
Seems good growth prospects and for comparison I comapred it to PXC where it seems to be trading at a discount to PXC which has been tipped and is apparently trading at discount to the market but cannot break-free of 7.5-9p range. Legal & General buying seems good and before today I hoped for the chance to buy around that price and could have done below it!! Question is where does thew support lie and how far do you think this could go. I'm very tempted. Thoughts much appreciated.

mjr1234 - 30 Mar 2005 13:15 - 186 of 305

BARGAIN price at the moment - topped up twice this morning at 5.2p and 5.22p.

Remember L&G bought at 5.75p recently. Its great to get in below the institutions. Wonder if they'll be buying any more?

andysmith - 30 Mar 2005 13:21 - 187 of 305

That was my thinking, just wondering whether or not it will go below 5p?
Have we reached the support level or will it go lower before end of tax year?
Looks a potential 2-3bagger from here?
Currently deciding whether to buy today or see what happens tomorrow?
I have been taking profits in the last few months as I'd doubled my portfolio since 2005. Nice to have cash available for bargain prices.

mickeyskint - 30 Mar 2005 14:29 - 188 of 305

andy, I got in at 6 (what a plonker) so I'm hurting a bit. I think tomorrow could be a repeat of today but how it will effect EVS who knows. I agree this is a potential 2/3 bagger. Flip a coin or as my dad would say "If in doubt do nowt". Sorry I can't be more helpful.

LOL
