Wouldn't that be good?
We could have a 1 party and all meet up and get drunk together looking back on that hideous day we nearly lost it all.

Hunty - Still in (although meagre) had two finals in the last two days, came to check the sp this afternoon and sweated a little, actually make that a lot. The funny thing I've think about the stock market is how share prices move so randomly completely unrelated to the company itself. Stanelco is still stanelco now as it was on Friday. Nothing has changed, yet, according to the stock market its 20% smaller!! So yesterday would have been an awesome time to buy more stock not sell out.
But in my little experience, I've learned you haven't lost until you sell out. so I'm just sitting tight, occasionally checking in, but am not expecting any price launch for a few months yet. I do wish though, that I had some spear cash, and invested a little more yesterday. Oh well. Heres to student days ending on Thursday and regular salary starting!

driver ..... no i didn't and wouldn't ..... seem to have to keep repeating, "Hold if you have 'em but don't go out and buy" ...... still holds true and am certainly far from convinced that it is all blue sky and sunshine ahead ..... don't forget there is also a long w/e coming up which nearly always "plays tricks" with prices, and will quite likley be exacerbated this time.

29 on Paperbackwriters list so far. I guess these holders cover many millions of shares. A significant number/percentage in fact.
Enough, I feel, for us to send a small delegation to meet SEO to discuss any disquiet or uncertainties at some future time (and get my duff Stanelco pen changed!).
Not now, it is only 3 weeks from the AGM, we are in a closed period and awaiting an Interim Statement. Perhaps in the future if we do not like what we do or don't hear. Shareholder power?

Great day! 90% certain that sp bottomed out yesterday - based on my argument given above that fall was overdone through a combination of stop losses broken and cfd margin calls. Looks as if quite a bit of money switched in today from such as ASOS which hadn't been effected by market fall. As such it will be quite hot money so situation may be volatile for a while. Still good topping up time so don't agree CYNIC; his very name gives himself away - he just loves to take a pessimistic view. Sorry about bos: Greenseal was basis of last year's run; this year's run will be absed on Starpol; next year Greenseal will join in for a further push. But don't like the idea of my friends bos not joining in although he can be a guest at the 5 party.

Tony - Shareholder power indeed and I guess between us we hold a substantial investment. Just how many shares in total 'Riders of the Storm' have is anyones guess..

If I could keep my head when all about others are losing theirs,
If I could risk all my profits, and lose, and never breathe a word about their loss,
If I could meet with Triumph and Disaster, and treat those two imposters just the same,
If I could judge the Bottom and the Top,
I'd be a Day Trader, and make loads of Dosh!
Let's hope we've turned the corner,
Good Luck "Riders of the Storm".

Also holding from 2p days but only a reader so mightn't count on the list. Do think all fundamentals are there it's only a matter of time.

Re:
1) Packers have said the case is yet to be proven
2)The benefits on paper are not so evident on the shop floor lines
3)there are other issues with the RF machines which the existing ones do not have.
4)Margins are so tight
5)only any good if you can seal without a contaminating laminate layer - how do you know it cant be?
6)As GS still has issues
How does anyone know for sure. I can only state what I know from a number of very reliable sources at the coal face.
The fall and bounce were both predictable. another fall may follow, although I cannot see the ftse falling much below 5465.
GS seals through contamination with no laminate bonding layer required, the secret to an environmetal packaging label, unlike heat. Starpol being made from strach and several other additives delivers full benefits but requires RF GS sealing inorder to retain the benefits of the enviro label. Yes you can heat seal starpol, but why bother? it defeats the objective.
