Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

the problem with the world is the population breeding out of control .
goverments have got to do something like stopping aid and stop these adverts of children starving if you can not feed them dont have them . save the children are doing more damage than good by a long way . they are killing the planet but it is not to save the children it is to give them a big fat salary .dont give it will only get worse ever year . when do you wake up when the population is 20b

It is not an enquiry about Blair etc. It is just a press ethics enquiry.

the leveson inquiry is to stop the press from reporting facts .
the MPs want revenge over the reporting of there thefts of tax payers money .
and it is still going on .there are stealing our money by any means that looks ok.
the press MUST be allowed to print the facts .with out them we would not have found out about the failures of people in power, or murderers

Anyone but me find an ethics inquiry that was called by the government is a bit like the pot calling for an inquire into the kettle.

"why waste my time voting for thief's and liars" Agreed, so why don't you stop voting for them and vote for the people who are not thief's and liars? Giving up voting is just letting them get away with it.

Totally agree Tanker. At the end of this whitewash the public should know exactly how much tax payers money has been spent on this utter farce. How much longer is this going to go on? Everyone and his dog is being called to give evidence and when you get an utter jerk like Piers Morgan in the witness box preening himself you do despair.

Because by holding the enquiry you may have a chance to expose some of the "said" political elite for the villains some of them are.
Also, at the least, the public and those "offended" by the abuse of "power" against them, have a chance to remedy the corruption that was previously carried out behind closed doors. It may prevent an even more rapid descent of public standards to that of a banana republic.
I am fed up with the statements "that was yesterday" and "just put it behind you". Previous governments have had their periods of corruption, but none like the stench arising around the present one.
I hope that as a result of exposures at the Leveson enquiry, that there will be more civil actions and criminal prosecutions against the perpetrators of the abuses.
Probably, it will lead to the end of the Murdoch media empire.
I don't think that many members of the present government are "fit" to hold public office.

Next national election, I can't see many voting Tory, Lib/Dem, or perhaps what could be your favourite party, the BNP.
