i still think seo will make good money over time .still retain all of my holding as im quite happy to wait it out.
like others i would like to see some signs in the announcement but am happy to wait for the transfer of funds from the impatient to the patient.
it wont come in a hurry but it will come.
good luck to all holders.

GOTYA - 25 May 2006 11:42 - 16986 of 27111

"On another matter, I am pleased to update the position on Greenseal
communicated by our chairman at our recent AGM. We are continuing to make
significant strides with our Multivac conversions with trials into both a salad
and meat supplier to Asda going well. The Proseal AP60 currently being converted
for Hitchin Foods is consistently performing in our factory in Southampton
having run for 8 hours continuously for several days without any issues."

Nothing personal Martin, but running the said machine in a refridgerated enviroment on the lines presents different challenges/issues.

Then add on the extra setting up costs and maintenance required on a much more regular basis than existing and the commercial proposition changes from that claimed on paper.

Good progress and another fine achievement for wrap 100.

GS is still an issue and was to be seo's immediate revenue flow. So what happens next, still no orders or likely hood of any.

barney12345 - 25 May 2006 11:44 - 16987 of 27111

explosive, yes quantum accepted, i asked PM about a month ago what revenue we derived from this. I have posted about it here several times and it is fantsatsic and cleans much better than ordinary finish, and the cost is falling all the time as they are pricey. PM was going to ask aquasol what revenue we derive but he has not got back to me. Too busy running his new forum i expect!!

But more generally things are moving sooooooooooo slowly and rather than give updates they just launch another product.

Am still sat on 3times my investment so tempted to pack it in and watch on the outside.

barney12345 - 25 May 2006 11:50 - 16988 of 27111

Actually explosive PM says that the new 5in1 tabs from Finish are also Aquasol IP, although why no RNS etc who knows, so perhaps more revenue than just Quantum.

God I am talking myslef round again.

explosive - 25 May 2006 12:00 - 16989 of 27111

I know that feeling Barney!! Been in and out a few times myself!! My current investment in SEO however is only the profit from my first sale, so for me happy to stay in as I've seen how quickly this one moves when consensus changes.

garyble - 25 May 2006 12:13 - 16990 of 27111

There's that Gotya chap again. Well Gotya, GS was last year's favorite and money-spinner for SEO, this year its Starpol and apparently there will be 10,000 tonnes of the stuff sold this year with capacity for a further 20,000 tonnes. That would equate to ~14m revenue. There is also the traditional revenue and that of the RB deal to consider along with the Biotec/Sphere contract of another 10,000 tonnes of biodegrable pellets {which I'm assuming is not double accounting}.

Bosley,

The announcement of last may related to the Mondini installation. It so happens that WM/Tyson visited Grampian Country Foods to look at just such an installation.

Today's announcment mentioned Multivac and Proseal AP60. The Multivac conversions appear to be in-situ, whereas the Proseal unit is in the lab undergoing in-house testing before being landed on the poor client. It is the way things should be done.

I'm making a big assumption here, but I would expect SEO to have learned from the past year's experience with retro-fitting, logistics and the rigours of full-scale production. They would have altered their approach and expectations accordingly.

oblomov - 25 May 2006 13:09 - 16991 of 27111

Gotya,

You're talking billhooks again.

'still no orders or likely hood of any'

No likelyhood of any orders? Utter rubbish again. Why are Perseco, Walmart, ASDA and probably McDonalds looking at them, talking to them and trialling the products ?

barney12345 - 25 May 2006 14:54 - 16992 of 27111

Oblo, you have to sort of see Gotya's point, i mean how long and how many times have we been on the cusp of orders, so whilst it is good we are talking perseco etc where is the order book and cash.

I know we all expect it to come and patience etc but after 3 and a bit yrs finding it v hard to keep making excuses for them.

EWRobson - 25 May 2006 15:59 - 16993 of 27111

Just taken out a cfd to double my holding (although still small relative to last year)! My perspective is: SEO went into the closed period as Lovegrove discussed the sales activity with WalMart/Tyson and Perseco; they are unable to make announcements unless statements of fact at present - e.g. the wrap announcement this morning; its a reasonable assumption that activity is proceding the background and that there will be material progress to annoucne at the AGM. Maybe even order(s) - you know, those commercial contract things which bring in actual revenue and potential profits! What are the odds? In my book, better than evens. At the worst, there should be an 'encouraging' progress report. OK, our expectations have been too high. OK, Stanelco's expectations were too high, particularly with regard to on-site conversions. But they are much further forward than they were 18 months ago when the sp was in the 6-8p range; in fact 18 months hard, effective and, yes, inspired work - e.g. that acquisition of 50% of Biotec and (for a small company) the success of the marketing programme to Walmart. Also like the look of the more stable trading in the share.

I did brilliantly with cfd's on the run up last year and then disastrously on the run down. Do you recall my comment that we should project last year's chart onto present position (rather than turn it upside down)? Another two or three weeks to get in at this level?

Eric

Aw Driver! did you have to post that pic? I'm starving, just nipped in to have a look at the state of the market whilst half way through mowing the lawn/hayfield/swamp; could eat Jimmy's horse on the NOWT thread but I'm not even allowed to eat my favourite junky junk food at the moment....I'll have to make to with a nice cold Leffe instead!

Barney,

There is a world of difference between 'No orders' and 'no likelyhood of orders'.

Look at the list of those sticking with this share - would we all be in if there was 'no likelyhood of orders'? Of course there is a likelyhood of orders at some stage. Its plain stupid to suggest there isn't.

No offence intended - lol!

driver - 25 May 2006 16:48 - 16997 of 27111

oblomov
Would that be one Big Mac or two.

oblomov - 25 May 2006 16:57 - 16998 of 27111

I'll just take the (wrap 100) wrappers please, driver. Far more nutritous (and tasty I would guess) and probably more biodegradable!

Now, on a more serious note (for once), I hadn't checked out SEO's TM's for a while and I've just noticed they put in a new application in January for STARPOL (they already have a registration) to extend the goods. Some interesting new applications here which may suggest where they could take this in the future. edit: P.P.S. - doesn't link now, but broadly speaking the U.S. app covers the same as the EU app.

had a quick trawl on t'internet re pricing for wax wraps for food packaging. it ain't as cheap as I imagined $50 per 10000 sheets seems about average.
Anyone know how many McD's get through worldwide in a year?
I'm slightly more happier and can almost taste the 'jam tommorrow'

nice find OBLOMOV.

hewittalan6 - 25 May 2006 17:19 - 17001 of 27111

Sorry, Gentlemen, but "Jam Tomorrow" has been referred to the "Axiom and Maxim Revue Board" for further consideration.
Any use of the phrase will be reported to the "Cliche Complaints Commission", who will come down on you like a ton of bricks until the cows come home.
Thank you.

kimoldfield - 25 May 2006 17:32 - 17004 of 27111

Hmm, a sticky situation for some then Alan! Talking about the cows coming home, my wife is due back any minute so i had better get back to mowing the swamp. (I REALLY did not mean that, she is one in a million!).

A good spot indead Oblomov. Tesco are introducing degradeable bags by September, have SEO got a foot in the door?
