The trouble with the England football team is organisation in defence on the pitch, when they lose the ball, starting from the midfield working back, they should also adapt a few ideas from the very good Danish teams of the last 2 decades that when after a few defensive minutes they break out in grapes one side of the pitch or the other : 5 or 6 players tightly packed together with 1 player covering for any loss of ball to relance the others again, there is no need to always play the whole pitch all the time, keep it tidy one side or the other with the advantage in numbers on one side of the pitch very suddenly can surprise the opposition; (you cannot play the whole game like this though, just now and again) : remember the Brazilians in attack at Wembley : they attack and try to outnumber the opposition for a very short time : we should do the same and then resume defensive attitudes.

Bollox , trouble with English football team is pure and simple ... they are overpaid prima donnas and therfore have no incentive to try and win matches.

As opposed to the underpaid Italians, French, and Spanish players eh ?

i agree jimmy.......with exception of scotland. i think we are about the only jst about honest nation left with regars diving, feigning injury etc......and all that injury time is ridiculous. i reember going to games and at 4.40pm or just after i ws going home.......now at 5pm theres no guarantee that game is over
