Western Australia - land increase

The Directors of Sirius Exploration Plc (AIM: SXX, OTC: SRUXY), the potash mining group, are pleased to
announce that the Company has secured exploration application licences on two additional tenements the
Company controls in Western Australia. The application licences allow the Company to move forward with the
process of obtaining exploration application permits on the land.

The additional tenements are E04/2003 and E04/2005 and are located in the northwest area of the Willara Sub
basin of the Canning Basin and cover approximately 1000 square kilometres. This land is in addition to the
exploration application permits the Company already controls in Western Australia covering approximately
1250 km2 of claims in the Kimberley region that overlie the Canning Basin. Further announcements in
relation to Sirius's Western Australia properties will be made in due course.

Potash mining group Sirius Exploration has placed 50m new shares at 6p to raise around 3m.

Sirius chairman Chris Catlow said the funds would allow Sirius to progress its activities in Australia and fund the first phase of an exploratory drilling program in North America.

They were desperate for stock all day in this despite the placing, almost
every pi seller was paid a premium for their stock, there was never a stage
where the online bid and size was weak, most of the day it was around mid
price to sell, pretty good considering that placing news and price.

Potash mining group Sirius Minerals has acquired a further 1,425 net mineral acres of lease areas next to existing properties in North Dakota via its Dakota Salts subsidiary.

The company now controls about 7,425 net mineral acres overlying the Williston Basin, with an overall land position of around 18,500 gross mineral acres in North Dakota.

Chairman Chris Catlow said, 'Sirius holds a substantial data bank on the geology of the Williston Basin and the potash/salt deposits within it. The information has been fully analysed by the company and its partners; this has allowed us to identify target locations.

'We are now acquiring land accordingly and will continue to work closely with the state and our partners in North Dakota to enable Sirius to expand its operational presence in the region, Dakota Salts having recently been granted the first potash specific drill permit in the state for 30 years.'

SHARES rates them a buy in this weeks' mag.

North Dakota: Commencement of drilling
"Further to the announcement of 19 October 2010, the Directors of Sirius Minerals Plc the potash mining group, are pleased to announce that drilling has commenced on its North Dakota property.

Through the drilling programme being carried out by Schlumberger Water Services USA Inc and North Rim Exploration Ltd a single exploratory hole is being drilled to a total depth of approximately 8,990ft (approximately 2,740meters). The drill core will then be sent to NREL's core facility in Saskatoon for detailed core descriptions and geochemical sample selection. The samples will then be sent to and analysed at the Saskatchewan Research Council laboratory in Saskatoon. It is anticipated that the drilling, core logging and analysis will take approximately two months to complete."
