Viridas has undergone a re-structure away from biofuels and is now focused
on the natural resources sector and expected to make its first aquisition shortly.
Nicholas lee was recently appointed as CEO and has major share options recently
granted of 28Million shares, a short while ago they had a 125M share placing
at 0.40p per share which was fully subscribed.
A large investment has been made by Zoltav resources in Viridas and Bruce Rowan
is a major holder of 100M shares which is around 20% of share issued capital.
Viridas also made a recent investment in Brady Exploration and nicholas lee joins the Brady board as a non-exec director.
Currently has a tiny market cap of around 1.7M and is 0.315p to buy :-)
A short while ago in an RNS viridas CEO nicholas lee made the following statement:
"A number of investment opportunities have been reviewed during this period and
work is continuing on a small number of these. In particular, these include an
interesting manganese opportunity in southern Africa - manganese is relatively
easy to mine and is a key component in the production of steel.
A gold asset in Chile in an area that is well known for both gold and copper and a copper/gold property in Spain in an area where there are existing mining operations."
An interesting small cap with high calibre backers that could be going places ??
