ZOO - on the up again? (ZOO)

LINZIMASON - 29 Jul 2003 15:30

What's happening here - the volume has increased massively today. Am I missing something in the air - anybody got any news?

rodders14 - 01 Oct 2003 09:31 - 17 of 170

This should make for a good base of turnover to bolster the new development of the dvd extra TM until it starts to be taken up by more companies. These titles were obtained "on the cheap" allowing a cost cutting range of sales for both volume and turnover. Good work zoo.

goldfinger - 01 Oct 2003 15:51 - 18 of 170

Spot on rodders, I wish one of the guys on my home site SC saw it that way.

I have likened Zoo to NXT, but NXT without the valuable revenues coming in meaning they have to return to market time after time to raise further money just to keep going.

Ah - there you are GF, just "tailing you around"!!!!

rodders14 - 02 Oct 2003 09:29 - 20 of 170

rodders14 - 07 Oct 2003 15:55 - 21 of 170

all things pretty tame at the zoo.

rodders14 - 13 Oct 2003 17:54 - 22 of 170

wELL WE COULD SEE SOME NICE PROFIT IN THIS BY CHRIMBO, AS SOMEONE SAID ON THIS BB BEFORE, ZOO WILL CONTINUE WITH NEWS RELEASES FROM OCTOBER 2003

rodders14 - 14 Oct 2003 11:03 - 23 of 170

That 450k should have thrown a spanner in the works but the fact that it has held up after is a very good sign. Brokers now paying 9p for these at the minute and they were already marked up to 8.75 this morning. Keep it up mm's

mrsigns - 14 Oct 2003 21:34 - 24 of 170

I'm new to this investing lark but with a name like zoo it is bound to go up.

I like football too

Come on you blues

rodders14 - 14 Oct 2003 22:45 - 25 of 170

Why "with a name like zoo" is this bound to go up, I dont understand your investment strategy, but if it leads you to the right shares, fair enough.

rodders14 - 15 Oct 2003 10:47 - 26 of 170

Small trading today just holding up the price and keeping it ticking over til next announcement and building support at each level

rodders14 - 16 Oct 2003 09:01 - 27 of 170

Fantastic write up in shares mag today, saying that with zoos authoring system makes the 50 dvd player a competitor for playstations and pc's. The development of beta testing with 20 major studios and games developers being almost complete and most of these companies are expected to buy licenses early next year when the software goes on sale. The shares summary notes that zoo have a good chance to eventually regain their glory levels of 74p after they listed in 2000. the technology works and people are queuing up to buy it. Cool!!!!!!!!!!

rodders14 - 16 Oct 2003 09:11 - 28 of 170

Read it here for yourself

rodders14 - 16 Oct 2003 09:21 - 29 of 170

The bid price has ticked up 0.5p in the last hour with the offer staying, they are looking for stock. Share price already up 10% again today. With company announcements helped by shres magazine articles after each this stock is ticking up and sticking up. Come on, how long am I going to talk to myself here.

B_ASKIN - 16 Oct 2003 10:12 - 30 of 170

I bought in when I read Shares Magazines blue sky portfolio July 24th.
Well done and thank you Tim Freeborn.

Uzbekking44 - 16 Oct 2003 10:18 - 31 of 170

Time to take profit Rodders?

I think there may be a bit more juice in this one yet before next RNS.

The shares mag feature is certainly why this has taken off today rather than a delayed response to the most recent RNS.

spieler - 16 Oct 2003 11:19 - 32 of 170

Just another quiet day at the zoo (+42.5% as I write)

rodders14 - 16 Oct 2003 14:30 - 33 of 170

I would love to take profits but only if it goes down enough afterwards to allow me back in for the next hike. Thinking overall, I am going to sit on my holding and cross my fingers for very little retracement and news within the next month to help it jump up again. I sat for quite a while waiting for it to rise enough to cover the spread so every hike up is pure profit now.
Uzbekking 44 I totally agree with you but isnt it annoying when the news is released and very few people do anything about it until an article in shares magazine lead people by the scruff of the neck and shove their noses in it before they realise how much potential this share has, it also shows that press coverage is vital to small firms like this.

rodders14 - 16 Oct 2003 14:33 - 34 of 170

It has been quite a while (if ever) that a share I actually own is the top % gainer of the day, feels good. Would another 40% rise tomorrow be cheeky to ask for.

rodders14 - 16 Oct 2003 14:58 - 35 of 170

Looking at the trades and the proportion of sells (supposedly), either the protected T trades are buys and are showing as sells or they are actually sells but even if they are sells, the fact that they are holding the price regardless, seems to me to be a strong indication to buy/hold whatever the T trades are.

rodders14 - 16 Oct 2003 17:33 - 36 of 170

its 5:30pm and there has been constant trading in this share since the market closed we have a few mm's needing the overtime I think.
