Up 4% this morning following IC recommendations. Wide spread I think, but the IC article says Hambledon are working on a Russian exploration in Sekisovskoye, which it recently acquired.

Seymour Pierce analyst apparently have a price target of 9.2, but depending on outcome of Russian exploration this could go a good deal higher.

Interesting, but DYOR please.

Bouncing from support after being at oversold on the Indicators,
large volume for the last couple days,
has lately update on doubling the estimates to 2.7M oz of gold,
production start next year, Gold prices going higher lately
and MMs are bidding 13.50p for the shares online

imho sp is cheap as chips ! good time to top up...

skyhigh --i was in from the start and top-up when cash comes available---out
of my 28 high risk investments this is the safest - it's a no brainer imo baring
a 40% drop in POG, which we think we know is most doughtful. Also topped up
with some more Avocet (no ramp ) @ 1.74--- both will bring happy christmas !!!

Just jumped aboard @ 14.4p & was wondering why this has really not moved much at all, seeing as any news regarding gold recently has been nothing but good ? Add to this cheap extraction & the price at the mo has to be appetising or have i missed something that's not obvious ? Surely this has a long way to go IMHO. Any other views would be most welcome

Recently bought into this company, at less than 15p. With production just weeks
away i feel fortunate to have got in at such a price. 1st production expected in
2nd quarter, so June we should have output if all goes to plan?

House broker Seymours say the company is massively undervalued

Production is delayed more likely to be July/August. Seymours feel its
undervalued by 3, which suggests 40p+?

Seymours tipped it at around 14-16p which suggests 48p target.

Bought into these this afternoon. Interesting play in mining, would appear to be undervalued on forward earnings and potential take-over target in future?

All that strong buying over the last 2 or 3 days , and the change in the price is ? ZILCH !!

At today's Annual General Meeting of Hambledon Mining Plc (the 'Company'), the
AIM-listed mining and exploration company developing precious metal deposits in
Kazakhstan, the Chairman, George Eccles, commented:

'I am pleased to say that the considerable progress in 2006 has continued into
the current year. At Sekisovskoye the processing facilities are nearing
completion with some parts of the plant already being commissioned, all major
equipment is on site and the mining operations are continuing smoothly.


'At Ognevka refurbishment has commenced.


'The Board remain optimistic about the prospects for the Company.'

Hambledon Mining plc is an AIM-listed mining and exploration company which is
developing an open pit mine and constructing an 850,000 tonnes per year
treatment plant at its Sekisovskoye gold deposit in East Kazakhstan. After the
start of open pit processing, the Company plans to develop the much larger
underground resources.


Production from the open pit will average over 40,000 ounces per annum for five
years, though this is expected to rise to around 100,000 ounces when the higher
grade underground ore is added to the feed. The Company also holds the rights to
and is exploring the adjacent Tserkovka licence territory which includes several
