Hello,

I know there are a number of you that are not able to access our streaming information due to corperate firewalls.

We have just put in place some code which I hope will get round the problems caused by these firewalls.

If you have been unable to get streaming information from MoneyAM due to corperate firewalls and would be willing to test some stuff out of us, can you please post below.

Ahh but if you load your stockwatch page and then click an epic does it pop up a new window with the relevant quote page for that epic? Which if I read Oakapples142 correctly was the problem described.

No didn't open up page without use of control key, then OK.

Yes treats that as a pop up and blocks it.

Mozilla Firefox (free browser)has a nice feature which lets you block popups but allows you to specify sites where you wish to allow them.

yes! set Firefox as your default browser...it is the best and the fastest browser!

stockbunny: are you behind a company firewall? What's your connection to the Internet?

No not behind a firewall of the company variety, just a standard norton
one which I always have on - connection is dial up I'm afraid

Bunny: you probably should try disabling the Norton firewall to see if StockWatch downloads and runs then -- sounds like Java applet download is inhibited.

OK took firewall down, tried stockwatch, no joy...

Stockbunny, re enable the firewall, your system is at risk. You have had no problems before, so firewall is unlikely to be the cause now.
