Ignore the 750,000 x trade, I think that's just broker to broker, but still the rest of it's good. Maybe the price is being held down to fill a buy order which is being filtered through in 200, 000 - 250, 000 tranches as seen today right from 8 am. They're obviously holding the price back for some reason, I guess the stock overhang still hasn't been cleared yet.

At last! broken out of the 41p range, 20ml buys today, that must of cleared the overhang.

Yes, I hope so. This is hopeful with a week on Wednesday until the results. My only slight concern was that perhaps these large buys are actually sells and they're going through as buys because the computer is guessing whether they are buys or sells. But maybe I'm just being overly pessimistic. Most of the other trades which went through as buys were automated so they should be accurate and there was still above average volume on them alone. They must all be buys I guess or else the price wouldn't have moved. It takes a lot for Enn to go up. It's like pushing stone. The chart looks good.

Confirmation in Guardian yesterday that 10 million shares had been placed for an institution. Decent above volume buys today as well.

The acquisitions seem well selected, a good set of results next month should keep the SP ticking upwards.

Long time no postings here, results were ok, and going good today, up to 49.75, when I bought these the talk was of a bid around 50p, it's nearly there without a bid, so if a bid does arrive it will be further north of 50p, perhaps nearer 60p so here's hoping.

Saw the Co at the Growth Co. Show, -( again this year) - so I've bought some for my ISA - Yes, this is Full List!.......I hadn't realised. Only 20p a while ago - darn!
Sp working itself up although with a small fallback this month.
Comes with a dividend.
IMHO it's a moderately good prospect, with a business that's essential to our built-environment. They also have wildlife at their quarries, so maybe a bonus for anyone so inclined... to see after the agm in May, usually....

Credit crunch affecting all markets - and ENN is down to 15p (to Buy)....darn again!. Maybe av. dn. soon. It's not as though the stuff goes off...
EDIT 14 July08
Up25% from a real low - yet no Co news, still maybe keep hands in pockets still awhile.
Anticipate a dividend cut at least....
Harrycat,
Agree with your (post 02July, below),, Yet someone wants to buy some, but these Markets are very unforgiving....

"LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Sellers got the upper hand in Ennstone, 4-3/4 pence down at 16-1/2 pence, after the building products supplier warned it is likely full-year turnover and profitability will be materially below current market expectations.
It expects first-half results to be in line with its expectations but said it is likely both aggregate and value-added product sales volumes in the second half will be significantly below the previous estimate.
Ennstone is reviewing its debt levels and banking covenants but pointed out there are no current breaches of banking covenants, which are tested quarterly."
Not one I would put money in to at the moment, but long term could be worth holding on to, imo.

Ah, so! It appears ENN has more assets than it thought - so that means they need more money - eh? Oh well the sp has taken a dive of about20%, even from these recent lows ( I bought at 44p, doh!), and that's that. I'm inclined to wait until there is a Rights Issue/Placing ( PI's never get the opportunity do we?) - and see where the sp goes - sub 10p maybe....oh deary.
+ Harrycat - it looks like they reviewd their Debt and didn't like it!
And ENN looked Rock-solid!
EDIT 15Sept08 - (=the day Leman Bank Burst!) - ENN down 45% (now 10p!!!), - on fears they have to sell part of the US-operation (presumably to get some easy-cash?). Not sure I like the suggestion that "One Party - preferential, etc." Doesn't sound like an "Arm's-length" transaction - will that mean it's sold cheap? Shareholders have seen a destruction of 75% of value...in less than a year!
Arrgh! Yes, I did mention 10p, = double Aargh!
