If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!
Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.
The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.
This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)
If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Would second the comment by PeterG on intraday charts.
Also second that by Haystack on the Watchlist. I take it the final site will have a little button to go to L2 when it's up and running. Like the chart and T symbols - nice idea. Beats having to go to another tab up top.

Has anybody reported this? When I go into Stockwatch I can't get out again. I've tried using the browser's back button, the drop down list next to the back button and also the 'Charts' and 'Bulletin Boards' buttons above. The message in the bottom left hand corner of my screen says "Detecting proxy settings". At first I thought it was just the Internet doing one of its "go-slows" but it seems to keep on happening. Any ideas?

PeterG - just a few questions about your streaming problem:
1) What browser/version are you using
2) What version of Windows/other operating system are you using?
3) Are you behind a firewall?
4) Does this problem occur all the time, or intermittently?
thanks
Ian Penning (MoneyAM)

My first look at this site - and it looks good.
I guess this has been mentioned above (can't be bothered to trawl through all the posts) but I think it's essential to have the option to display INTRADAY CHART DATA over several days. E.g. choice of 1,2,3, 5 and 10 days worth of 1,3,5,15,30, and 60 minute data would be great. The 10 day option would also give you a small competitive ADVANtage over a certain other site I could mention...
A cetain US site (only $15 per month) gives you all this and allows you to roll back over several YEARS. Now that would be something.

Hi Ian,
I've created two stockwatches - "banks" with 6 epics, and "indices" with a huge list of epics that Mike (Bullshare) provided on one of the threads today.
The problem seems to be associated only with the indices stockwatch - is the list too long? Once I get that stockwatch on screen the only way I can get out of it seems to be to close the browser down and start again.
To answer your questions:
(1) IE 5 and (2) Win 98 (yep, I know...)
(3) I have the free version of Zone Alarm but it hasn't caused any hassle so far with MoneyAM
(4) As I said above, it seems to affect only the "big" stockwatch, but so far it's done it every time I open that one.
[added on edit] The indices stockwatch has about 40 epics. It certainly seems to slow things down a lot...

Thanks for all the bugs and suggestions(fonts, colours, intraday timescales, back to list, buy tupperware etc etc). All are on the fix or to do list. Had a few new faces join us today so a bit of load. Hurrah.
Later this week we are going to put in all the fancy shining new kit( so speeds should increase).

Ian, re post 177 above - I just managed to get out of my Indices screen using the Bulletin Boards button. Perhaps it's just a load-related issue?

not sure if this is a bug.. but, I shortcutted direct to the BB and it shows ALL of the posts, and I thought oooh! loads of responses to threads. so i clicked on one of the ones I was interested in, then it asked me to log in, got into the thread... and all the posts had gone... of course it was reading the unread posts because I hadn't logged in... silly me...!!! is that a bug??? no probably not... well it's been a HARD day.... :@)

I think it is the lack of a login method. It is assumed that people will come in by the home page. In fact people will bookmark the stockwatch or BB pages. The journo stuff on the home page is lost as most people won't read it. A button to take you to the journo stuff would be useful and a defined login method.

Haystack - you could be right.. :@)
Bullshare.... on the personal bit... when you click on someones alias... if they have an email address could you add a button to offer the user to 'add this person to your personal email list' as the chances are if you email a person once, god forbid... you might want to do it again and it seems silly to hunt for a post to click on them again to contact... :@)
A bit of work there for the backroom boys..... :@).

When you work on the portfolio section a usefull addition would be the ability to include shorts. Mainly of use to Swing and Position traders but a facility not offered on other sites.
