rather than pick out individual stocks to trade, it can often be worthwhile to trade the indices themselves, especially in times of high volatility.

for those so inclined, i attach below charts for FTSE and FTSE 250, though one might equally be tempted to trade Dow or S&P, which is significantly broader in its coverage, or even NASDAQ

Off this 30min, ignore the 6318.5 cross, that's just where my cursor was when I took the shot. 6243 upper cloud first resistance to push through then 6275 first target and where I'll close if all goes to plan.

Keeping an eye on those commodities also... looks to be topping off slightly sooner than planned right now.

Debating another long, knew it'd come back but back to upper edge of cloud to test quick support is abit overdoing it...

Cynic I've just spent the last few days analysing the FTSE to trade, haven't the time to properly do the DOW as well right now.
