Bioprogress (BPRG)

scorpion - 13 Aug 2003 13:54

Bioprogress is a stock I have been in and out of quite a few times since it floated in May but not much mention here on the Investors' Room. Does anyone else follow this stock. I see it is up 1.5p today and a few good buyers seem to have appeared.

Please.... can management not give us some hope...even on the horizon.

DSTOREY9916 - 26 Jan 2005 15:46 - 1704 of 2372

What management?!!

accord - 26 Jan 2005 17:43 - 1705 of 2372

SEO up another 3% today whilst BPRG down 1.5%

Why did I buy at 74.7p, with charges I need 80.2p to be in profit, anyway my others are in profit so heres keeping the faith that this will upturn sometime soon.

Jumpin - 26 Jan 2005 17:52 - 1706 of 2372

Yes SEO is up around 100% from losing the court battle.. BPRG is down around 50%
That says it all.

accord - 26 Jan 2005 21:05 - 1707 of 2372

It was mentioned at the back end of last year in various financial press that due to BPRG trading as American Depository Receipts (ADR) on the Nasdaq, they do not qaulify as investments for ISAs resulting in people being forced to sell these shares if they have them in theor ISA portfolio.

Could the drop in price be a result of this????

Jumpin - 26 Jan 2005 21:11 - 1708 of 2372

They are listed on AIM and that does not qualify them to be included

Please don't clutch at what might be straws - faith and the ISA debacle should not be the reason to hold. Do you still believe the story or not and what stop level did you set.

Winners in this game lob losers and run winners. It's brutal out there. I know.

All IMO

Big Al

I was just a thought i had after what was written in shares mag back in Dec.

I bought this stock for the long term but im abit confused why the they are down by 50% compared to SEO up 100% since the court hearing. Reading SEOs postings on here the mood is bullish.

Adios amigo

BPRG has lost its lustre since the turn of the year. I think SEO have other irons in the fire, hence their good performance, whereas BPRG has had nothing. Prices tend to drift in speculative stocks when there's little news to keep them afloat. Last year BPRG had traders all over them, but they seem to have left it and moved on as well. Long term they may flourish, but always set a stoploss somewhere.

Cheers,

Al

Hi Al, nice to catch up with you. I think the amount of damages and royalties awarded, and the result on the SP.(what ever that may be) will be a pretty good indicator to the short term future of bprg,

regards,

bluejeans

PS. Hope you got on KMR!

Fred1new - 26 Jan 2005 23:57 - 1713 of 2372

Howdy bluejeans. Think you're right. Not expecting a bucketload myself. ;-)

Will be outbound through the airport tonight - again!

Fred1new - 27 Jan 2005 17:14 - 1715 of 2372

There seem to be some with faith in this shares. Recently there have been quite a few reasonable size buys after the Bell.

rayrac - 27 Jan 2005 19:45 - 1716 of 2372

Better than before eh! Some have been clanging on about this company's prospects since 98.

For whom the bell tolls....beware :)

Looks the sp is about to breakout of the downtrend. Expect the 20 & 50 day
moving averages to be crossed by Tuesday, plenty of action to come.

BH.

Fred1new - 31 Jan 2005 17:14 - 1718 of 2372

A lot of buying to-wards the end of the market. Overall B/Sells ballanced. To-morrow may start a little higher.

Fred1new - 01 Feb 2005 21:31 - 1719 of 2372

Another day of a lot of buys towards the end of the day.
Is there any news?

ssanebs - 02 Feb 2005 01:31 - 1720 of 2372

AXM pharma said that they would market soluleaves in china early 2005. we have just entered feb so i think the announcement is not far away.

ethel - 02 Feb 2005 14:30 - 1721 of 2372

I understand that bprg has a mkt.cap of 75mln.stg,with 15mln.stg in cash, which is reassuring.Gearing low, ready to start manufacturing in a big way...have come out on top of the thing with SEO.I have a target price of 120p does this seem reasonable?

Fred1new - 02 Feb 2005 15:32 - 1722 of 2372

YES
