Unfortunately I cannot guarantee the accuracy of the translations, not being a "sly" linguist myself. But you might be able to make some sense of it.

Hi Socs
IT world is OK, in a big system test for a couple of weeks so late working this week (20:00). Hope to get away early this evening

Socrates - 25 Jul 2003 19:55 - 1714 of 23498

Jeff,
Hope you do/did. How's trading? I've managed a reasonable gain this last couple of weeks. Still making up the bear run losses on my old shares but well in the blue on my new ones.

jeffmack - 26 Jul 2003 11:42 - 1715 of 23498

Today... I will be mostly fitting a new shower

Socrates - 27 Jul 2003 11:01 - 1716 of 23498

Morning all, antiques fair today. I shall be careful not to stand still too long.

Crocodile - 27 Jul 2003 11:38 - 1717 of 23498

Soc, Love antique shows! Wheres that one being held?

Socrates - 27 Jul 2003 16:14 - 1718 of 23498

This one was at the Cheltenham Racecourse and I've just got back from it. It's not huge but there is a good crowd of regulars. I also go to one at Malvern every month at the 3 Counties Showground, that was last week.

Next week is the biggy though, NEC Birmingham. It's brilliant, very difficult to see everything in one day. Some fabulous goodies there, if I had a fortune I could easily spend it. I see you are a West Midlands location, will you be there on Saturday?

Crocodile - 27 Jul 2003 17:09 - 1719 of 23498

Socrates, NEC, Fancy meeting for a coffee there next Sunday? Possibly Saturday ..
D.

Socrates - 27 Jul 2003 17:32 - 1720 of 23498

Socrates - 28 Jul 2003 19:26 - 1721 of 23498

OK, who nicked all the Belgian Buns whilst my back was turned?

jeffmack - 28 Jul 2003 19:44 - 1722 of 23498

munch, munch... not me

hilary - 28 Jul 2003 20:10 - 1723 of 23498

Hello Socs,

I'm out tomorrow so I'll not have time to reply to your mail. From today's price action, I'd say that the time was probably right to buy.
