NML is due its interrim results now, last year it was the 28th of this month.
They are setting up a new site to explore/research/analyse and all the equipment to do this should be on site now, and drilling should start soon, all this extra news should be covered in the interims.
does anyone have any further positive views on this company ??

Anom..." spoke with an industry expert last week and he spoke with all of the majors regarding NML. They told him that they ran a mile when they were contacted by NML"...I think you should be very careful saying that sort of thing unless you are prepared to quote your source.
I don't have multiple aliases...I have my user name on ADVFN (mclellan)and my user name here (takahe) because I can't use mclellan here. Everyone knows that..it is no secret.

My source - a journalist, is well known and I doubt that he would mind being quoted. If anyone decided to take any action based on that statement, they would end up with more egg on their face as a consequence.

"an industry expert" or "journalist" - which? surely you can't believe them to be interchangeable expressions! one is paid to advise industry, the other is paid to sell newspapers.
why do you insist on telling us all what we know - and then insisting we understand it the way you do - what's it to you if our head is in a different place to yours - go and control someone else' thought processes - it's bad enough holding some worthless shares without you rabbiting on like you invented information - facts are interesting and useful, opinions expressed as unpleasantly as yours are not

Your problem is that you bought into a dog of a share and wouldn't listen to the warnings of others. The facts I stated last year - about the company misleading the shareholders are just as true today as they were then. The only difference is that then, the share price was 6p and now it is 1p.
If more people had listened to Andy and me, then they might have saved themselves a lot of time and effort, worrying about a share that is going nowhere. They might have been able to invest in a share that did appreciate in value, like Firestone. They still have the opportunity to get in on BDI Diamonds or European Diamonds whilst they are low and recoup some of their losses IMO. But it appears that for every successful investor, there are moaning minnies like yourself who will deny that anything is wrong until you have lost everything you invested. Even then, people like you always blame someone else, like the management or de-rampers, but refuse to take responsbility for their own mistakes.
I admit that I made the same mistake in investing in NML last year. I fell for the lies too. I was led on by the stories of instant success or multiples of value, if only we wait a few months longer. But as soon as I knew that I had been lied to, I shouted the warnings to everyone. I will continue to do so, because this has become more than just an academic interest. Someone has been committing a market abuse by repeatedly dumping millions of shares and I would like to know who that person is.
The journalist I spoke to, specialises in the mining industry and knows most of the key players in the business. He's privy to the gossip that is spoken at conferences and the stories that can not be repeated in the press. But he also knows a duff stock when he sees one and calls a spade, a spade. Apparently, he's not the only one, as there has been much said behind closed doors about NML.

Anom..it is daft to talk about EPD being good. It has done almost as badly as NML...and I know that for a fact , since I have both, although I don't have many EPD since I sold a lot of them in the 80's!

What I have actually mentioned is that BMG and EPD are good opportunities at the moment. NOW. Rubstone rates them and it won't be long before csmyth has to pay that 10 to the NSPCC in my view. EPD has far more chance of going through 40p than NML going through 4p.
BMG is a good investment in my opinion, You should do some research on them. I don't hold BMG, but I do agree with their directors that they have the potential to get to 50p to 70p in the near future - if they keep producing diamonds of such high quality. FDI was a share I spotted last year and made quite a nice profit on as they rose from 47p to 150p. I wish I had kept them up to 190p, but I wanted to crystalise my gain. Pity, because it kept rising. It's still a good share and now seems almost chained to the movements of AFD.
There are plenty of good diamond plays out there, DYOR. But NML is not one of them IMO.

Anom...I guessed it is not your opinion..lol...but do remember that NML is on a licence near Catoca, of similar geology, with alluvial potential and kimberlite potential. They have not endeared themselves to their shareholders by their method of operation....nor have EPD (lots of dilutions and shattered sp and broken promises)...but that doesn't mean they will not succeed.

From AD^FN:
manis - 8 Nov'05 - 09:54 - 2990 of 2998
people behind the scene knew what to expect in next few weeks. Hence we have seen lots of large buys in last few days and will do in days to come. Do not listen to people who mumbling about suspension...etc...because they do not know a fcuking thing and only sit in front of computer and type what they like. All will reveal soon!
manis - 8 Nov'05 - 10:41 - 2993 of 2998
again lots of trades behind the scene. Got a feeling a joint venture is on the card. Someone is definitely accumulating big time! All will be reveal soon.
I'm glad that someone is admitting that there is insider trading going on at last, because manis has just put his foot in it big time.
I'm quite sure that English is not manis's first language otherwise he would have made the usual mistakes. But to actually admit that people 'behind the scene' are trading on their information (price sensitive information) is enough to convince the FSA that they need to open a full scale investigation into NML.
Then there's this post:
regalrealm114 - 8 Nov'05 - 11:50 - 419 of 421
Pacific Continental was on the phone to me yesterday plugging this share they offered me as much as I would take!
The last share they were pushing went up a few pence then dropped back to entry levels after they had cleared them off there books.
It appears to me that they keep the price up artificially till they offload the bulk of their holding.
I wont be taking up the offer.
Good luck to you all.
Regards E.
So the bucket shops are being used to offload the MM's surplus. They must know that there is worse to come and they are right.
On the strength of manis's posts on the other BB I would expect NML to be getting some press in the next couple of days. Although it may not be the sort of press that Gary M was hoping for...........!
I suspect that the regulators will have no choice now and have to open a book on NML, to find out who's been very very naughty boys....(and girls!).
If any of you have incriminating emails, it might be time to change your hard drives! Remember that ADVFN has most of your details, which means that Canary Wharf will too.
If you play with fire.......................
