Eric

Where did you get the info about the placing (of 53.3m) shares at 7.5p to raise 4m?

The oily one

EWRobson - 01 Jun 2006 21:06 - 17094 of 27111

Post just before 12 noon today from ssanebs in which he indicates Friday. I Haven't seen the 53.3m shares before or did you compute that from the quoted amount raised. I assume information comes from a client of the placing but I don't have direct information. Anyway, we should know tomorrow morning.

garyble - 01 Jun 2006 21:55 - 17095 of 27111

EWR,

There was no mention of the amount raised, unless it was quickly edited.

GOTYA - 01 Jun 2006 22:06 - 17096 of 27111

Well I did say this week would be fun for you chaps. 7p - 12p, what bigger clue did you need. I might buy back in when it drops. Nice easy money, buy at 8.5 ish sell near 10p and re buy to sell at a premium in a few months.

Oblomov, just a born fool and a bit of a control bb freak?

Oilywag - 01 Jun 2006 22:11 - 17097 of 27111

Eric

You mentioned 4m. Ssanebs said 7.5p; that's 53.3m shares or roughly .5% of the total shares in issue.

I hope they have a very good use for the cash, ie. they are going to spend it on financing a deal which is guaranteed to raise serious turnover and PROFITS.

Oily,

5.7% of issued shares.

Do you think that you buying back in is going to make any difference to the sp or that we care if you do we would rather you just p**s off' or just go away which ever you prefer.

PM1, who seems to know these things, is expecting the announcement although at a somewhat higher price. This is a high cost stage of development with Greenseal machines in production and live trialling at Perseco (et al). Methinks the maiden frets unduly; all is progressing well!

Eric

ssanebs - 02 Jun 2006 02:05 - 17102 of 27111

yes i had a call to say the price is 8p for the placing, not 7.5. Also announcement is dependant on the shares being all placed thursday

markusantonius - 02 Jun 2006 03:06 - 17103 of 27111

In the current climate, it can be very difficult for SME's to raise cash ATM so there may be a further delay, in that case? Private (off-Market) placements are ALWAYS lower than the bid price (at the time of issue though!). So, providing the discount-to-the-Market is tempting enough to persuade private investors without totally underminding the bid price then the good news is that 8p should be the support/resistance level, yes.

Also, in my experience, such PP's are typically followed by some positive newsflow to back everything up. I do hope so! Better this way c.t. a rights issue which would have almost certainly diluted shareholder value. I've been through similar scenarios with OFEX companies, in the past, and if we can hold our nerve and ride the storm then I think we will be rewarded before too long.

No mention of SEO in TB's weekly update, however RHPS June issue is out tomorrow.

Oilywag - 02 Jun 2006 08:13 - 17108 of 27111

Ta muchly

This arrived from PM1

Hi All,

I have had several questions about a placing rumour, it's true, but the price is wrong, it's actually a wee bit higher.

Apparently it's not huge, the company just got caught out by the market drop, or it would have been at a much better price, such is life !

Cheers,
Paul

ordinary shares ('New Ordinary Shares') at a price of 8.1p per share to raise
approximately GBP 3.8 million (approximately GBP 3.7 million after expenses

greekman - 02 Jun 2006 09:10 - 17110 of 27111

I feel this placing is not a bad sign. SEO were not desperate for cash so could have waited till the sp rose, even slightly.
A placing now, I feel indicates, some good news to follow. This placing puts them on a better footing should a deal be imminent.
Will be interesting to see how the market looks at it

garyble - 02 Jun 2006 09:16 - 17111 of 27111

I too feel that it is not a bad sign, but SEO must be desparate for funds or else they could have waited. I think they need to show commitment and have sufficient cash upfront as part of a deal they must be finalising.

Logically IMO, the next news should be detailing exactly where the money is going!
