required field - 14 Jul 2010 13:55

It is now time to switch to a new Money AM football blog as the world cup is now over and we all look to the future.....World cup 2010 is over, Bravo Espana, and Forlan, once again and bring on the new season !.....I never expected the last thread to be such a success...thanks all.... so this new one might go on for years without the need to edit the title...we shall see...

You have to think Man U will pull out all the stops to keep him first, without him they are donald ducked.

Dil - 20 Oct 2010 21:46 - 172 of 6918

10 more like Bale and Spurs would have walked it !

ptholden - 20 Oct 2010 21:52 - 173 of 6918

10 more like Bale and Wales would have half a team Dil!

Seriously though, Gareth Bale is a fantastic player, bit like me in my youth :-)

HARRYCAT - 20 Oct 2010 21:59 - 174 of 6918

If only he was english! Sorry, but no chance of getting to the top playing for Wales.

Dil - 20 Oct 2010 22:52 - 175 of 6918

lol pt ... can you remember that far back ?

We got a better one than him , Aaron Ramsey of Arsenal .... nine more to find !

required field - 21 Oct 2010 08:23 - 176 of 6918

Bale might have had a good game...can't say the same for the rest of them....most of them have not a clue as what to do with the ball....how about some british players instead of these very poor overseas players !.

jeffmack - 21 Oct 2010 08:24 - 177 of 6918

Steve Morison, that leaves 8

Dil - 21 Oct 2010 08:28 - 178 of 6918

No jeff he's second class ... Bellamy is better than him and at least plays for a decent club :-)

Ramsey is 20 and Bale 21 I think so we got about 8 to years to find another 9.

Chris Carson - 21 Oct 2010 09:35 - 179 of 6918

Man U press conference 10am should be interesting :O)

Will it be "The club has bowed to Wayne Rooneys pay increase and assured him that they fully intend to spend mega bucks to attract the players Wayne is entitled to play alongside"

OR

"Rooney can Foxtrot Oscar, no one player is bigger than the club"

Place your bets.... Chelsea, Real Madrid, City or Barcelona ?

Treblewide - 21 Oct 2010 09:57 - 180 of 6918

rooney will not go abroad the boy can hardly speak english never mind learning spanish.

Man U at a crossroads...they cannot compete financially to get the best british players and SAF has a major re-building job to do...interesting times at old trafford

required field - 21 Oct 2010 13:40 - 182 of 6918

Rooney is a great player...shame we don't have more like him.....a bit better than the average "kick up field" mob you see most of the time.

Treblewide - 21 Oct 2010 13:43 - 183 of 6918

i love SAF....the way he handles the press sometimes borders on genuis.....

Chris Carson - 21 Oct 2010 13:50 - 184 of 6918

Agree Treb, he treats them with the contempt they deserve. Question perplexing Man U fans, 80m for Ronaldo untouched, say 50m minimum for Rooney will the owners pay off the interest on the clubs loan or give it to Fergie to rebuild? Interesting times indeed.

Treblewide - 21 Oct 2010 13:51 - 185 of 6918

man u are only 12 months away from being the new liverpool i think

required field - 21 Oct 2010 15:35 - 186 of 6918

For Rooney : got to be Barca .....can't see him going to Real...Messi plus Rooney..ouch !....the others would have to watch out !.

Dil - 21 Oct 2010 16:44 - 187 of 6918

Well if Man U don't want him and can't sell him til Jan then I'm sure Cardiff can come up with something similar to the Bellamy loan deal if Fergie's interested.

We could even lend them Chopra for a couple of months if they like :-)

tabasco - 21 Oct 2010 17:20 - 188 of 6918

Rooney will go to Man City if he leaves Unitedracing certainty!50ml is my betthe transfer will hurt UnitedCity will grasp the upper hand for the first time in many years
Can you honestly see Rooney moving to a hot climate that dont serve up fish and chips.and he would have to play to a systemnot left backright backcentre midfieldor in whatever hole he can find.a genius with a retards brain!

tabasco - 21 Oct 2010 17:25 - 189 of 6918

BTWif an out of form Rooney goes for 50 mlwhat is an in form Gareth Bale worth?and I didnt think I would ever be saying that about a Welsh international?

Dil - 21 Oct 2010 20:07 - 190 of 6918

About half of what Aaron Ramsey is worth.
