If you have workmen in, I shall make you a coffee TIM - that is something I can sympathise with! Anything to go with it?

optomistic - 29 Oct 2004 10:07 - 17126 of 23498

Priscilla - 29 Oct 2004 10:20 - 17128 of 23498

I could do something illegal to a slice of toast if there's any to accompany the tea, opto!

Morning everybody!

daves dazzlers - 29 Oct 2004 10:27 - 17129 of 23498

optomistic - 29 Oct 2004 10:46 - 17130 of 23498

Well that's a good start to the morning, just saved 120 on my car insurance and with the same broker. I suppose lower premiums is one of the benefits of being retired :-))

Spaceman - 29 Oct 2004 10:57 - 17131 of 23498

Morning Jeff, How's the world in IT?

This_is_me - 29 Oct 2004 11:20 - 17134 of 23498

No toast for me in case the workmen mistake it for a tile for the bathroom wall - they are not the brightest!

optomistic - 29 Oct 2004 15:12 - 17135 of 23498

Half day closing? Good afternoon all. Water boiling, fresh tea in in a trice, or in a cup if you prefer it. Not a bad day on the market things ticking over nicely. Once this month is out perhaps we will begin to see something more positive up to the year end. In the meantime keep drinking the tea it is now believed to be good for you. At last we have found something that is!!

daves dazzlers - 29 Oct 2004 15:23 - 17136 of 23498

Just look at them old boys in india opto.

optomistic - 29 Oct 2004 15:28 - 17137 of 23498

Hello DD, your large pot is ready. Those Indian chaps were also brought up on chicken, I'll bet a lot of that was on the turn, but the curry covers that up doesn't it. Just a point, I'll stick to tea and fresh chicken (I hope)
You having a good day.

Wandered off then DD jobs to do, My day has been positive but no big movers.
Hi Brocks, needed you two weeks ago..loads of flat packs to assemble. A lady with your experience (in assembling flat packs) would have made the task a doddle, only one to do now, so I should be able to manage that. Tea?

brockman - 29 Oct 2004 16:19 - 17141 of 23498

Hello Opto, sorry I missed that, I would of been a whizz at holding your glass for you and doing the occasional pour, past that I'm pretty useless :o(

brockman - 29 Oct 2004 16:20 - 17142 of 23498

however, according to Kayak I would do it with very little clothing on :o)
