NML is due its interrim results now, last year it was the 28th of this month.
They are setting up a new site to explore/research/analyse and all the equipment to do this should be on site now, and drilling should start soon, all this extra news should be covered in the interims.
does anyone have any further positive views on this company ??

What I have actually mentioned is that BMG and EPD are good opportunities at the moment. NOW. Rubstone rates them and it won't be long before csmyth has to pay that 10 to the NSPCC in my view. EPD has far more chance of going through 40p than NML going through 4p.
BMG is a good investment in my opinion, You should do some research on them. I don't hold BMG, but I do agree with their directors that they have the potential to get to 50p to 70p in the near future - if they keep producing diamonds of such high quality. FDI was a share I spotted last year and made quite a nice profit on as they rose from 47p to 150p. I wish I had kept them up to 190p, but I wanted to crystalise my gain. Pity, because it kept rising. It's still a good share and now seems almost chained to the movements of AFD.
There are plenty of good diamond plays out there, DYOR. But NML is not one of them IMO.

Anom...I guessed it is not your opinion..lol...but do remember that NML is on a licence near Catoca, of similar geology, with alluvial potential and kimberlite potential. They have not endeared themselves to their shareholders by their method of operation....nor have EPD (lots of dilutions and shattered sp and broken promises)...but that doesn't mean they will not succeed.

This stock usually moves like the wind, MM's holding the sp for a reason?

From AD^FN:
manis - 8 Nov'05 - 09:54 - 2990 of 2998
people behind the scene knew what to expect in next few weeks. Hence we have seen lots of large buys in last few days and will do in days to come. Do not listen to people who mumbling about suspension...etc...because they do not know a fcuking thing and only sit in front of computer and type what they like. All will reveal soon!
manis - 8 Nov'05 - 10:41 - 2993 of 2998
again lots of trades behind the scene. Got a feeling a joint venture is on the card. Someone is definitely accumulating big time! All will be reveal soon.
I'm glad that someone is admitting that there is insider trading going on at last, because manis has just put his foot in it big time.
I'm quite sure that English is not manis's first language otherwise he would have made the usual mistakes. But to actually admit that people 'behind the scene' are trading on their information (price sensitive information) is enough to convince the FSA that they need to open a full scale investigation into NML.
Then there's this post:
regalrealm114 - 8 Nov'05 - 11:50 - 419 of 421
Pacific Continental was on the phone to me yesterday plugging this share they offered me as much as I would take!
The last share they were pushing went up a few pence then dropped back to entry levels after they had cleared them off there books.
It appears to me that they keep the price up artificially till they offload the bulk of their holding.
I wont be taking up the offer.
Good luck to you all.
Regards E.
So the bucket shops are being used to offload the MM's surplus. They must know that there is worse to come and they are right.
On the strength of manis's posts on the other BB I would expect NML to be getting some press in the next couple of days. Although it may not be the sort of press that Gary M was hoping for...........!
I suspect that the regulators will have no choice now and have to open a book on NML, to find out who's been very very naughty boys....(and girls!).
If any of you have incriminating emails, it might be time to change your hard drives! Remember that ADVFN has most of your details, which means that Canary Wharf will too.
If you play with fire.......................

What a load of crap you speak, Anom. You'd think you would have learned your lesson from last week, advising people that they had hours to sell before suspension etc. Those posts of yours have gone to the Consumer Division of the FSA who are supposed to protect consumers from people like you. Having a contrary opinion is one thing , but posting false information to delude people is another matter.
There are 2 RNSs out in the last week which make it perfectly clear that something is happening
1) NML have bought a stake in Assai...details to be announced before the end of November
2) They have suspended operations onC9 in the hope of getting a slice of a JV on C9 kimberlites
Neither of these is exactly a secret!
Your last sentence is ludicrous. I think your hard drive would be very interesting and your Messenger system...
indeed, if you play with fire....you should know

Anomalous,
You've been threatening "action" from the FSA/press on NML for the last 6 months.
It's long past the time when you should have either PUT UP or SHUT UP.

mjr- that's because Anom's assertions about 'secret emails' are rubbish. I probably saw most of the emails that Healy sent in the early days to a poster called gunner who distributed them to a group of us (about 8). There was nothing secret in them at all. He used phrases like 'going for it from the start' (which they probably meant at the time before they hit lots of physical and political difficulties), that there 'were diamonds just a metre down' which there are, according to the geologist report and 'using barges' which was actually 'dredgers'..again, a recommendation in the geologist's report there in black and white for all to see.
For some reason, Anom thinks this is 'insider information' or was designed to 'fool the shareholders', as well as Campbell Smyth supposed to be impersonating Healy! It is just absolute nonsense!

This stock usually moves like the wind, MM's holding the sp for a reason?
The MMs are desperate to get rid of their stock. Several posters on AD^FN have now reported that bucket shops are selling millions. My analysis of the trading over the past 8 months reveals that they had somewhere in the region of 10 million surplus shares. With the recent increase in trading, they've managed to reduce this total. Between them, they probably hold no more than 4 or 5 million now, but still need to dump more.
The MMs dilemma is that the recent share issue has created several large holders, that received script instead of payment from the company. These brokers/PR companies/Nomad and Registrars are not going to hold the paper, if there are further drops on the way as it has done over the past year.
Why hold shares at 1.1p, which could be worth a great deal less in only a short period of time? These companies need the payments for their own operations. So a large number of shares are going to find their way onto the market and the MMs are very reluctant to pick them up, unless they can do so at a much reduced price and trade them on.
That's probably the reason why despite the massive buying today, the MMs are reluctant to move the bid up from 0.85p. It would encourage too many sell trades from the script holders. The MMs are working the bucket shops hard to get rid of their shares, before the matter goes pear shaped.

Useful evidence that you were in receipt of communications from Healy. Open wide and stick the other foot in if you can!

There is nothing illegal about receiving communications from company Directors Anomalous. Perhaps you think it is only ok to phone up secretaries on their mobile phones like you admitted to having done with "Kerry" of EPD?

Anom....are you going off your head?
"Useful evidence that you were in receipt of communications from Healy. Open wide and stick the other foot in if you can! "...wrong again...I was in receipt of communications from Gunner, mostly. There was nothing 'secret' in them at all or anything remotely price sensitive. You have never given ONE example...you just SAY it is. I exchange emails quite often with David Horgan of Petrel, not just me....David responds to most people who email him...there is nothing wrong with that. You phone Kerry Spencer ..what is wrong with that?
I've even posted here a grumbling email I sent to Healy.... and his reply.
