Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

Bluelady - 23 Jul 2007 08:48 - 17218 of 24230

Socrates, I did read about Cheltenham on the BBc website this morning. Trust you are prepared with water supplies.

Socrates - 23 Jul 2007 09:04 - 17219 of 24230

Yes Bluelady. Got enough for drinking and cooking. Big problem will arise if the electrics goes off, freezer won't freeze, no tea or cooking as we don't have a gas stove.

Bluelady - 23 Jul 2007 09:12 - 17220 of 24230

That must be difficult if only electric cooking. On the Apprentice some silly guy said one could cook sausages with an empty tin can and a candle, didn't work of course. How about a primus stove, or is that too late, ie all sold out?

Socrates - 23 Jul 2007 09:43 - 17221 of 24230

I do have a fallback plan Bluelady, relatives in Kent. Would just shut down the house and relocate for a few days. Biggest problem would be finding a cattery for the moggy.

KEAYDIAN - 23 Jul 2007 14:23 - 17222 of 24230

Morning all, any breakfast going?

optomistic - 23 Jul 2007 17:14 - 17223 of 24230

Now that has been one very quiet day in the cafe!
Just to keep the stocks flowing I'm having a Guinness.....or two :-0)

optomistic - 23 Jul 2007 20:42 - 17224 of 24230

Well that's enough Guinness for me for today, think I'll go and do a Keadian...night all :-)

KEAYDIAN - 23 Jul 2007 20:45 - 17225 of 24230

Not in my bed you don't

optomistic - 23 Jul 2007 21:53 - 17226 of 24230

Certainly won't K. :-)

Spaceman - 23 Jul 2007 21:57 - 17227 of 24230

Evening all, just been catching up on about 300 posts, looks like I missed the Kangaroo invasion. Bit of a shame really because I am very fond of kangaroos and so is my friend lambykins.

optomistic - 23 Jul 2007 22:06 - 17228 of 24230

Evening Spacie, do take care of lambykins, we are getting rather tired of kangaroo meat in the cafe.

KEAYDIAN - 23 Jul 2007 22:13 - 17229 of 24230

Anybody serving?

I'll have a guinness on this grey miserable day.

Spaceman - 23 Jul 2007 22:24 - 17230 of 24230

Hi Opto, I dont approve of kangeroo eating even though I have tried it myself.

Lambykins would be very very upset if he knew ...... ;-)

optomistic - 23 Jul 2007 22:28 - 17231 of 24230

Then we mustn't tell him ;-)
Another Guinness, yes please.
No sign of Bunny today, hope the warren isn't flooded.

Bluelady - 23 Jul 2007 22:30 - 17232 of 24230

Evening everyone, how long did 300 posts take to read Spaceman? Probably far shorter than the new Harry Potter book.

Keaydian, I noticed you've lost some weight today in the coffee bar.

optomistic - 23 Jul 2007 22:39 - 17233 of 24230

Evening Blue, I think K's weight loss is due to the fact he can't eat when he's sleeping

Bluelady - 23 Jul 2007 22:43 - 17234 of 24230

Hi optomistic, lol re Keaydian. How could you possible say such untruths about the Kangaroo steaks? The kangaroos are still alive and J Stratford will confirm it.

optomistic - 23 Jul 2007 22:54 - 17235 of 24230

Only a little fib Blue :-)))
On my way now........ don't be late in the morning.

Bluelady - 23 Jul 2007 22:57 - 17236 of 24230

I'll be early and then late but not in between in the morning!!!!

Lambykins - 23 Jul 2007 22:59 - 17237 of 24230
