Carlsbad, CA, August 22, 2005: Tadpole Technology Group announces the roll-out of GO! Sync (Redline) at JEA, a community-owned utility that serves 750,000 accounts in Northeast Florida.

In 2004, JEA selected ESRI's ArcGIS software as its GIS enterprise standard. As part of that selection, Tadpole Technology was chosen to implement a field mapping solution that supports electric, water and sewer operations. This field implementation uses GO! Sync (Redline) to enable over 300 JEA field personnel to leverage enterprise information in support of existing GIS operations.

Tadpole Technology's award winning GO! Sync (Redline) was selected because the software is versatile, easy to use and complements JEA's investment in its GIS infrastructure by seamlessly integrating with ArcGIS. It maintains many of the usability factors common with the paper map approach, including drawing on the map, sharing map data corrections, work-related drawings, and personal notes.

"A consistent, supportable architecture is just as important as creating field efficiencies and savings for large organizations. With GO! Sync, organizations invested in ESRI can now confidently and cost-effectively extend that investment into field operations," states Ian Martin, Utilities Executive Account Manager for the Geospatial Solutions Division of Tadpole Technology.

In addition to utilizing the standard map viewing, database query and map correction features in GO! Sync (Redline), JEA contracted Tadpole Technology to develop customized electric, water and sewer traces and integrate GO! Sync (Redline) with various third-party business systems, including the electric's outage management system. Implementation of these mission critical enhancements was facilitated by Tadpole's enterprise framework architecture, which includes flexible configuration /customization options.

"We found GO! Sync (Redline) to be easy to learn and simple to use, but also extendable to our unique needs." adds Maria Benavides, Project Manager for JEA. "Maps in the field were important to us, but so was integration with other business systems, as well as support for our types of traces and searching. GO! Sync (Redline) does it all for us and because of GO! Sync's enterprise approach maintenance is easy."

Been away for 12 days and returned to .... nothing! Oh well, I shall have to put my dreams on hold for awhile longer.

mackem - 24 Aug 2005 17:36 - 1728 of 2262

Could get nasty tomorrow, just when you think it cant get any worse
they dilute the stock even more with more GEM stock under 4p, combined
with Steig selling albeit not recently it's not going to do the stock any favours
short term.

mackem - 24 Aug 2005 17:47 - 1729 of 2262

Are they that desperate for just 100k to provide working capital.
Can anybody see any positives out of this because i cant ?

snappy - 24 Aug 2005 18:50 - 1730 of 2262

They still cannot be making any money and the number of fools prepared to part with their ca$h is dwindling.

Look out for another Steig of the dump share dump and the price will weaken further.

Come on moneygrabber post a few more irrelevant articles, you would make 3 times retired Keith a happy man. The career break from cleaning the public toilets in Richmond to trade a few Tadpole shares didn't do him much good, although no doubt the public toilets in Richmond are now cleaner than ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It would not surprise me that TAD is being manipulated/groomed/whatever to be swallowed by Microsoft.

MS have used Tadpoles software distrbution model for a couple of their products.
Basically online distribution of software. This is the Future! In the next 5 years I predict practically all software will be distributed over the wire to the device wishing to use it.

There are two major camps testing this mechanism. One with MS interest the other with Sun interest.

Have you tried it! I have. I downloaded a trial of Encarta from MS and it was cumbersome. Whats holding it back?......bandwidth.
Once we have 6 to 8 meg broadband surely this is going to fly.

As for the other side of TAD's business....what market size?...perrrr!

snappy - 26 Aug 2005 12:45 - 1738 of 2262

why would Microsoft want to buy Tadpole for arguments sake for between 25m to 250m when they could easily develop the streaming software themselves for a whole lot less?

Give me a budget of 500,000 and I could get it done quite easily in Bangalore or Hanoi and still have change.

Give me a budget of 2m and I could get it done quite easily in the UK.

Next potential suitor please!!!!!!!!!!!

So...why does Microsoft buy any business up?

Why did they buy up voice recognition for instance?

IRVINE, CA August 26, 2005: Stream Theory, Inc., a division of Tadpole Technology plc (LSE: TAD), today announced that it has signed a worldwide content provider agreement with Strategy First, a leading publisher and developer of interactive entertainment software. Strategy First, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of Silverstar Holdings, Ltd. (NASDAQ: SSTR), publishes award winning titles such as the classic Disciples and Jagged Alliance series. Strategy First launched a new online store in May and has more than 20 titles available for purchase. Stream Theorys patented StreamFlow Games on Demand platform enables retailers, portals, game publishers, and ISPs to securely distribute PC games to broadband consumers under a variety of payment models.

We are delighted to participate with Stream Theory in capturing our share of the burgeoning online marketplace," said Brian Clarke, Strategy Firsts Executive Vice President. Strategy Firsts award-winning content and Stream Theorys patented delivery process provide a formidable combination to achieve that objective, Clarke said.

Stream Theory is very excited to welcome Strategy First to our content provider family, said Steig Westerberg, CEO of Stream Theory. This is a perfect opportunity for Stream Theorys worldwide digital distribution partners to increase exposure of Strategy First games to broadband gamers everywhere. Through our partnership we will delight current fans and attract new consumers of Strategy First games, Westerberg continued.

Games on Demand (GoD) is a broadband-only service where games application data is streamed to a users PC. Unlike one-time purchases at retail or through installed downloads, GoD subscriptions provide recurring revenue streams for game publishers and distribution partners. GoD is emerging as a new revenue-generating window of opportunity for a PC game after its brief sell-through period passes. 2004 ended with 118 million worldwide broadband subscribers according to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. With Nielsen//NetRatings reporting current U.S. penetration at 60% the desire for new online services from broadband users is accelerating adoption of new technologies and business models. According to Parks Associates the number of households subscribing to GoD services will climb to more than 2 million by 2007.
