Which just proves a point about dogs. Our lab, Honey, slipped in when this super soprano was singing at our Yule Tide party. Joined in the applause by wacking her tail on the floor. Unfortunately, she thought the applause was for her and tried to get some more - in the middle of the next song, bang, bang! So under the table SD and lie down!

Excellent post from TFC; what was quite amazing was that the FP agreed! Read it again, FP; low prices don't recur when there is a stream of positive news which renders them obsolete! Actually, SEO has performed well against the FT today and there is a good wave of blue going through so it seems likely that we will move back into positive territory. The point that I would add to TFC is that the numerate news when we get it about ASDA and the order book generally will establish a new perceived capitalisation. Lets suppose it is 150M (I suspect the minimum) or an s/p of 20p. The dedict the perceived maximum cost of the c/c, say 25m, you get 125M or an sp of 17p. This is a way of determining a support level that will appeal to the larger investors. It will be interesting to compare the actual outcome with this prediction but I think it is balanced, in tune with the more mature tone of this thread as our personal baby, SEO, achieves the full blossom of womanhood (I do see her as female!)

I personally see her as a chick with a dick. But that's just me, always wanting the best of both worlds. And I am just talking about shares here, guys and gals.

Time for a Quiz
I have got 1 blue in my Portfolio any guesses (only joking)

There are two blues on my portfolio page and I am out of both of them: FDI which I had to close when SEO dropped last week and, wait for it, EPO. Now there's only one as EPO is DELETED, CAPUT, ELIMINATED, never to be considered again!

Eric

Fred1new - 23 Feb 2005 15:22 - 1733 of 27111

CIU.EPO, OXB blue but the rest are very red. all in all a B awful two days. C'est la vie. But the DJI is up again.

EWRobson - 23 Feb 2005 15:44 - 1734 of 27111

I'm voting for a green end today - balanced trading. As TFC pointed out, volumes are relatively low. Expect them to rise towards the end of the week with prelims on Monday. With the overall market in the state it is, the performance is relatively good; as we move forward in time, there will be more reason to buy ahead of announcem, ents and no more reason to sell; you could argue that those who are getting out are mostly out, bless them! Great - confidence restored!

Re CC case I understand the relevant SEO patents have to be handed over to BPRG by March 18th. The full claim by BPRG will be on the Courts Web site as soon as it is received, which surely must be any time soon so that we can all put this to bed. (So eager beavers do keep looking!) Meanwhile SEO issue another wad of Share Options...why did they not announce this a few days ago..they and the MM's must have known it was going to happen...who are their advisors, must check...jgt

Stanelco Plc

Additional Listing

Today announces the issue of 271,080 ordinary shares of 0.1p each representing
0.03% of the issued capital.

These shares have been issued to a retired employee under the Enterprise
Management Incentives Share option scheme at an exercise price of 2.87p.

This is peanuts compared to the cap of the company.

Amities/ Bonsoir mes amies - Volume again down quite considerably..Dissappointingly less than 4m stock traded with a pretty fair ratio of buys to sells .Even more of a dissappointment was the absence of early bird buyers who recently have always provided the stimuli to the days trading , and "kerb buyers " whose trading kept interest mustard hot awaiting market inception . . And if truth be known the mms had no need to exercise a policy of shinnigans with the spread to wrestle the stock from peoples greasy palms today .As far as i can make out from inquiries there is ONLY one mm running the book reg. SEO . Thats tantamount to utter manipulation in itself. But thus far they have been more thn fair. A lot of sells were domino like and systematic :and based on pure fear alone . Hence surrendered . Good support illustrated at the 14.25/ 14.5 level. And buyers returned with a vegeance. But with so much at stake i am quite shocked as to peoples motivations in selling at such a derisory s/p ( Perhaps a plethora of " T " trades were due for settlement today ) .We all know those prelims only need merely belie/ suggest/ hint/ imply/ signify a deal might be on the cards and we have 25p overnight. Confirmation and verification of a deal ?? Wow , the mind boggles. At such a time an announcement may be almost too good to be true- even considered hasty by city standards -but nothing would surprise me reg. SEO. .On a more positive note i am of the opinion { as is Eric ) that the vast majority of those who are getting out are in effect already out !! ,,lf not confidence restored certinly a case of confidence revisited .. ,, ,,,,a'bientot ...sante ciao ,,,@+ J .
