Has Space not found his horse yet?

chocolat - 29 Oct 2004 23:24 - 17298 of 23498

You'll have to ask him, brocks.
But surely, you'd know, wouldn't you??

optomistic - 29 Oct 2004 23:25 - 17299 of 23498

Brocks have you an electronic timer, on the heating system :-), that could have a fault or perhaps need resetting. Sorry Choccie, finished now.

brockman - 29 Oct 2004 23:27 - 17300 of 23498

I didn't know Spaceman had a horse Choc!

STORMCALLER - 29 Oct 2004 23:27 - 17301 of 23498

Fundy,
Thank you, my pea brain will concentrate on glass first. Being the quiet retiring type, I am a little short on stories, however on one occassion, after on onerous morning dealing with a very upset and unreasonable customer, I had to attend an afternoon course, "The Customer is King" I was very "tired and emotional" when I arrived at the venue, and spent the pre-course coffee break giving voice to my view that customers were every kind of *?@* under the sun. When the course started it turned out I had mainly been addressing the course presenter, who spent the whole afternoon citing my attitude as the reason the company was losing business.

Spaceman - 29 Oct 2004 23:28 - 17302 of 23498

chocolat, horse found OK in a sort of non horse owning way if you know what I mean.

I think I have been in the coffee bar too long better go and watch 'Later' on TV.

brockman - 29 Oct 2004 23:29 - 17303 of 23498

oww, it's really not my department Opto, it is electonic, and i have to arrange these little nobbles, some blue, some red, but it doesn't say if blue is on and red is off. I'd rather muck out Spacie's horse!

optomistic - 29 Oct 2004 23:29 - 17304 of 23498

Oh gotta go now, just been promised a hot chocolat if I have a shower and a shave and put some nice smelly stuff on. So I'm away fast :-))

optomistic - 29 Oct 2004 23:30 - 17305 of 23498

Brocks go for red on. Gone now!

chocolat - 29 Oct 2004 23:32 - 17306 of 23498

My lips never moved.

brockman - 29 Oct 2004 23:32 - 17307 of 23498

ok, will do Opto, but my washing machine seems to be leaking now :o(
Night all, going to mop up!

STORMCALLER - 29 Oct 2004 23:35 - 17308 of 23498

I can't keep up! must need some more bubbly anyway, if I missed anyone who left, goodnight! Now where's that bottle.

STORMCALLER - 29 Oct 2004 23:40 - 17309 of 23498

Typical, all empty, good job I have my own stash. Always be prepared, cheers!

STORMCALLER - 30 Oct 2004 00:43 - 17310 of 23498

And if the truth is finally conjured, the transient vision that appears may be the very antipode of one's desire, yet the genuine seeker will be sated, for is it not the whole, the dark side and the light, in one great union of majestic reality.

Goodnight all

Good morning one and all. Just woke up from last evenings nap in the cosy chair. You have been a busy lot.

If someone wants to tell the creme de menthe story that's OK with me. I'd like to tell an embarassing story about myself but I just can't recall any, it's not a senior moment, I just can't remember having any.

As for other stories, a gentleman just wouldn't tell, well not for free these days it would appear.

little willie - 30 Oct 2004 09:24 - 17312 of 23498

Yup, well hello everyone. wonder what stormy was on when he hit the sheets last night, bet it helped him kip .

re Brock and 'point to point', mrs.lw also did 'it' but as for moi...no..never saw the point and yes we only have flat racing over here.
As Spring comes into Summer and Sweet Revenge loses her winter coat I'll send a latest photo.

Choc re whales..here in the Western Cape all around our coastline is the breeding and birthing place for the Southern Rights whale,
Hermanus [about 1.5 hrs] away is the most popular place for their congragating
and they get as close as about 20 metres from the shore, sometimes upto a couple of dozen at a time. They are here from June until late Nov/v.early Dec.

Lovely sunny day here, warming up, 32 degrees expected, not a cloud, enjoy your day everyone; we've a golf tournie to take part in.

Socrates - 30 Oct 2004 09:35 - 17313 of 23498

lw
I feel for you, never a moments rest or peace, sad!

Fundamentalist - 30 Oct 2004 09:47 - 17314 of 23498

Morning all

Stormy - you dont post as almightysaviour on advfn do you???

STORMCALLER - 30 Oct 2004 12:06 - 17315 of 23498

Afternon all,
As usual just returned from trolley grand prix, these F1 guys have such an easy life, I have to do this 51 times a year, and have to change my own tyres, mind you the finish line normally has a prettier occupant then the flag waver they get!
LW
I wish it were so, but I was still awake when the phone rang at 1:30, someone needing cheering up, about an hours worth, so a bit ragged! Have to go visitng this afternoon when really I could do with some zzzzzzzzz.
Fundy,
I have never visited advfn, and have used this handle since '99, first on the now defunct Excite, then through various sites until this one, my most recent destination. (And frankly I don't think even I could be that pretentious...lol)

STORMCALLER - 30 Oct 2004 12:07 - 17316 of 23498

Have made fresh pot of tea should anyone be in need, I know I am!
