Pursuit Dynamics - A British success story in the making? (PDX)

Andy - 31 Aug 2003 11:58

Pursuit Dynamics plc is a UK based research and development company, which was founded in 2000 to develop and commercialise a revolutionary pumping and propulsion technology. Pursuit Dynamics (symbol: PDX) was listed on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange in May 2001.

The PDX Technology is a steam-based system that has applications in both pumping and marine propulsion. It is cheap to manufacture, extremely robust, contains no moving parts and is virtually impossible to block. Pursuit Dynamics owns 100% of the Intellectual Property Rights that surround the PDX Technology.

Pursuit Dynamics is now working towards the commercialisation of the technology it has developed.

AdieH - 28 Mar 2004 12:21 - 175 of 1003

Alot of negative posts on another bulletin board regarding this price. General comments are that it will fall on Monday, anyone got any views, we have seen a steady rise in the last week and can see no reason for downside, can anyone enlighten me? When are we expecting the RNS regarding the possible contract?

Regards

AdieH.

AdieH

If you believe that PDX will win contracts then hold, if you dont, then sell.

I have no idea where the rumour of a contract being announced this Monday has come from. If people have bought such a rumour, then chances are we'll see a retracement - whether a contract is announced or not.

I gave up trying to sell the highs and buy the lows months ago - when this thing moves it rockets, and the trend is most definately upwards. I just hold and hold and hold now. It wont move in a straight line, nothing ever does. If PDX hasnt been taken over the next 5 years or so then I believe its price will either be more than 10 or it will have folded.

HI Gausie,

Thanks for that I seem to have the same views as you, have seen a presentation by Pursuit and I fully believe the technology is ground breaking (only my view). Just hope the reported deal with a confectionary company is announced soon, have bought in at .50p and added so sitting pretty at present.

Good Luck to all

Regards

AdieH.

I'm in full agreement with you, Gausie. This is a speculative play which depends on Pursuit being able to land the deals.

Everything I've seen about the technology looks great and if they get the contracts then this company has a long and profitable future.

dclinton,

I agree, and I do believe the deals will come, and the firefighting potential, if realised, could be absoluteley huge, because saving lives is so highly valued, and there really is a worldwide market for that!

Sadly, no RNS as yet today, but I continue to hold, and am as confident in the product as ever, having seen it in action last year at PDX HQ, Royston.

oh please! get a life, bloody ramper

dclinton - 01 Apr 2004 21:12 - 183 of 1003

Thunderbirds crashed a bit today. Any ideas why?

0284966 - 01 Apr 2004 21:43 - 184 of 1003

In Shares mag today they printed an email from a punter asking if the deal announced on 11th March with a confectioner was that expected or if another was imminent. James Quinn confirmed this was the 'major' deal expected. Guess some punters disappointed it wasnt Cadbury's and bailed out en mass.
This company still has massive potential however and a deal is a deal. Stick with it.

dclinton - 01 Apr 2004 22:43 - 185 of 1003

Pah! Short termers.

ssanebs - 02 Apr 2004 00:00 - 186 of 1003

pdx have always mentioned the unnamed company as a confectioner and soft drinks company. The company they have named welcome food makes sauces and no soft drinks. Further, when i rang the company and asked was that announcement related to the extension until 30th april a few days ago, i was told that 'it did not say that in the statement'. Also the statement for welcome foods says a pdx pump has been at a plant for over a month, if you remember the confectioner trialled it for many months and paid 15k for the the last three.

dclinton - 02 Apr 2004 09:52 - 187 of 1003

Yes, there do seem to be some discrepencies. I guess time will tell if another deal is in progress. In the meantime, seems like a good opportunity to top up.

only 14 trading days left for the confectioners extension

AdieH - 08 Apr 2004 13:59 - 191 of 1003

Does anyone know why the move upwards today, is there something brewing regarding the contract? Article in Shares mag a while ago where the broker was giving a forecast price of 4.00 of all deals get signed? (not ramping).

ssanebs - 08 Apr 2004 16:28 - 192 of 1003

shares mag stated that the confectionary deal was still pending

Andy - 09 Apr 2004 19:35 - 193 of 1003

ssanebs,

Yes, last week there was a reply in the Reader's Letters section of Shares Magazine asking whether the Welcome Foods deal was in fact the large confectionary deal expected to be concluded in the near future.

The journalist replied that it was, but this is not the case, and this week Shares corrected that statement.

I rang James at Shares and mentioned that I didn't think this was the large deal, and then rang PDX, who referred me to their PR co. I spoke to a lady there, and she confirmed it is NOT the large deal, and she would ring James to clarify that.

I think both James, and Shares Magazine should be commended for being open and honest, taking on board the correct information, and issuing the correction.
