Garyble: sharesmag: "jury still out if a good investment-greenseal packaging behind schedule-prospects exciting with mcdonalds apparantly keen- no profits till 2008 but has prospects of a ten bagger

garyble - 29 Jun 2006 12:27 - 17445 of 27111

Dave,

Thanks for the update.

I will certainly be holding unless any significant bad news materialises. Delays are inevitable.

The product range seems exciting enough and the potential is there so is certainly worth the wait.

Thanks Robinhood.

Buy in june 2007 and you will only have to wait 6 months for profits, and in the mean time you can invest your money in JKX or AFR.

greekman - 29 Jun 2006 16:38 - 17449 of 27111

But if within next few weeks/months the expected news comes in you will be buying at a very heavy premium to todays price. Not saying your wrong, as it is an if. Also I feel that with any future profit forecast, those that do the forecasting always tread on the side of caution. If SEO go into profit sooner than June 2007 no one turns to the forecaster and has a go, whereas if profits don't materialize till say 2 months later than the forecast date, it does not look good for the said analyst. It's the same with forecasts of the sp. If they are out by say, 20% but under forecast, no problem, everyone is happy. If they are out by 10% ( IE more accurate ) but over forecast, they receive the brickbats. That's the way of the human phyci.

Oilywag - 29 Jun 2006 16:53 - 17450 of 27111

Greekman

Apologies in advance.

"Phyci" should be psychi.

Here's hoping that the news is good tomorrow.

The oily one

greekman - 29 Jun 2006 17:26 - 17451 of 27111

Oilywag,

No problem. I am slightly dyslexic, ( brilliant at maths though ) so sometimes my spelling is so bad that my spell checker gives up and blows a fuse. As I tried the following spellings ( phyci, syci, sici ) it's perhaps no wonder it did so.

Paperbackwriter - 29 Jun 2006 18:21 - 17452 of 27111

Actually, it's 'psyche', chaps. LOL
Sorry to be pedantic.

NielsJensen - 29 Jun 2006 20:42 - 17453 of 27111

Paperbackwriter, I tried this many times; continue at your peril!

bosley - 29 Jun 2006 21:31 - 17454 of 27111

niels, wondered when you would show up ;)

andysmith - 29 Jun 2006 21:45 - 17455 of 27111

Bosley, can't believe that folk didn't see the warning signs last Autumn when sp was still 20p and SEO stopped talking about Greenseal and moved on to Starpol. People can live in hope that one day they will deliver some profits but glad I followed my instinct, took my 4-bagger and got out as I'd be gutted now. Only deals will get this moving BUT if they do strike a deal for Starpol with a company such as McDonalds then it could see 20p again. I'm tempted to have a few again at this price!!! Can the sp go much lower?

bosley - 29 Jun 2006 22:25 - 17456 of 27111

andy, you pays yer money, you take yer chances. i'm still out but watching.

btw, i'll be sending you a cheque soon, see if i can do better than last year on the footie.

Oilywag - 30 Jun 2006 07:22 - 17457 of 27111

Anyone see any results? None showing on Interactive.

The oily one

greekman - 30 Jun 2006 07:25 - 17458 of 27111

The results, full and interims by the stream have been coming out by the bag full at 0700hrs, as usual. Seo to my knowledge have always put theirs out and released on the dot at 0700hrs (see exception below). Not trying to panic anyone, just find it strange. Looking on the bright side, could it be that they will delay till the US market opened, with perhaps news on the Walmart, and a certain fast food company update. That way investors both sides of the pond, have equal opportunity. Just a thought.

Exception was Final Results released at 1650hrs, on 24/02/03.

Biscuit - 30 Jun 2006 07:28 - 17459 of 27111

Morning Greekman, Has anyone actually got confirmation from the company that they are def out today?

greekman - 30 Jun 2006 07:31 - 17460 of 27111

Morning to you and all,

Not to my knowledge. The info came from T D Waterhouse who initially had it down for 29th, then changed to today. I (and no doubt just about everyone else) will try to get confirmation, although I know they won't give times, only dates.

Biscuit - 30 Jun 2006 07:35 - 17461 of 27111

ok, I'll try not to read to much into the change of date. Could be to coincide with positive news but also wasn't the new FD due to start on 1st July at the latest, so could be waiting until he's onboard if he isn't already. Their website does say June though, which would only leave today.

angusrjy - 30 Jun 2006 07:39 - 17462 of 27111

Still says 30th June on TD Waterhouse?

greekman - 30 Jun 2006 07:48 - 17463 of 27111

For the first time, I have sent an E-Mail to SEO investor relations requesting info.
Will reply if answer is forthcoming. Been on several sites, including Reuters Event calender which shows nothing for today regarding SEO, but they don't show anything up to next Thursday either so can't read much into that.
If anyone has an account with T D W can they send them an E-Mail.
Cheers Greek.
