Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

Bluelady - 31 Jul 2007 09:11 - 17454 of 24230

J Stratford, she seemed to take a shine to you.....was that because you asked her to do the dusting as us 'girlies' weren't around yesterday!!!

Socrates, brilliant getting the cat to wash the sweat of you, I wonder which was saltier, you or the bacon?

Lambykins - 31 Jul 2007 09:17 - 17455 of 24230

hello bob i think we should setup a special room for lambs and kangaroos and bunnies where we can all talk without the other people listening to us and we can make sure we have the best grass and we wont let the others have any of it and we could get some special hammocks just for us and we could have some australian things and we could have a nice veggie bbq and we could do lots of things as well

i am a lamb

JStratford - 31 Jul 2007 09:28 - 17456 of 24230

Bluey, not at all. I'm not that nasty... although sometimes I wonder

Bob the Kangaroo - 30 Jul 2007 22:26 - 17433 of 17433

Lamby. Ace idea. We can all sit round the Bush Telly

Bluelady - 31 Jul 2007 09:34 - 17457 of 24230

J Stratford, getting confused here, are you saying you are turning 'nasty' when you said sometimes I wonder?

Socrates - 31 Jul 2007 09:34 - 17458 of 24230

No special treatment for Australians, this is an equal opportunities cafe.

I have never known any Australians, heard of a few. There's that odd woman, Dame Edward Average or some such name. Then there is some girl whose name is often mentioned in shops as some sort of greeting to the shop assistants "Emma Chissit". Apart from that there was some woman who invented a pudding "Porch Melba" or something. Besides which, any I have met have spoken in that language they use, Strine. Completely unintelligible to me.

JStratford - 31 Jul 2007 09:42 - 17459 of 24230

Bluey. Not as nice as I used to be.

Bob the Kangaroo - 31 Jul 2007 09:46 - 17460 of 17460

Socs, everyone knows that Australians are better than the pommys. And being animals we're even better again :-)

Sheila the Kangaroo - 31 Jul 2007 09:46 - 17460 of 17460

Tuckers up Bob.

Lambykins - 31 Jul 2007 09:44 - 17460 of 24230

yes we are and we dont speak strange either

i am a lamb

Lambykins - 31 Jul 2007 09:45 - 17461 of 24230

Spaceman - 31 Jul 2007 09:51 - 17462 of 24230

This place is turning into an Australian wildlife park !!

Any chance of a warm danish or have they all gone?

JStratford - 31 Jul 2007 09:57 - 17463 of 24230

Spacie

I think it needs to turn into somewhere quiet with lots of people in white coats walking around and talking in hushed voices. Think the warm danish's have all gone, but they've been replaced with cold ones.

Sheila the Kangaroo - 31 Jul 2007 09:58 - 17464 of 17460

Course you can Lamby. How do you want your Amber nectar?

Bob the Kangaroo - 31 Jul 2007 09:58 - 17464 of 17460

Don't tell me we've got the Danes in here as well?

Socrates - 31 Jul 2007 10:05 - 17464 of 24230

Everyone knows that Australians think they are better than the pommys!

Socrates - 31 Jul 2007 10:06 - 17465 of 24230

Soon be 12th August, open season on Lambs and Kangaroos.

Bluelady - 31 Jul 2007 10:27 - 17466 of 24230

Never mind J Stratford, at least you are relatively nice to us females in the coffee house.

optomistic - 31 Jul 2007 10:35 - 17467 of 24230

Morning all,
Socco I do like the 12th .....
.... 40 years this year. The good thing is I won't have to buy her a ruby, someone else will have to do that :-)))
Morning Blue, how's 'us females' this morning?

Bluelady - 31 Jul 2007 10:42 - 17468 of 24230

Hi optomistic, not doing too badly thanks and yourself?

optomistic - 31 Jul 2007 10:46 - 17469 of 24230

Nicely Blue and having a rest day today :-)))
Tea for two?

Socrates - 31 Jul 2007 10:50 - 17470 of 24230

Opto
Mine didn't want a ruby, she wanted emerald. Does it matter what colour the rock is, it's the thought what counts (mind you the size of the rocks seem to matter too).

Bluelady - 31 Jul 2007 10:51 - 17471 of 24230

Don't mind if I do have one of your teas although the two probably won't last for long ;0).

Bluelady - 31 Jul 2007 10:52 - 17472 of 24230

As I said optomistic the two wouldn't last for long, how about tea for three, especially as Socrates has no running water.

Socrates - 31 Jul 2007 10:55 - 17473 of 24230

Bluelady, thank you for thinking of me. I will certainly join you for elevenses and not only that, I will provide one of those three tier plate things full of cream cakes and fondant fancies.
