LONDON (AFX) - Chaco Resources PLC said it is proposing the reverse takeover
of two Paraguayan companies -- Amerisur SA and Bohemia SA -- from Candey SA and
Daniel Sztern in exchange for 27,322,404 new ordinary shares in the company.
It also plans to raise up to 750,000 stg before expenses in a placing of
36,585,365 new ordinary shares.
The company's shares were suspended on Sept 3 and it said it expects this to
be lifted today. It has called an EGM for Nov 15 to approve the acquisition and
placing plans.
Amerisur holds two oil and gas prospecting permits in Paraguay and is the
registered applicant for exploration and exploitation concession contracts over
the same permit areas. Bohemia holds registered applications for an oil and gas
prospecting permit in Paraguay and for an exploration and exploitation
concession contract over the same area.
The exploration areas covered by these three applications comprise a total of
approximately 48,000 square kilometres of the Curypayty and Parana Basins.
Chaco said these basins extend respectively into Bolivia and Brazil, where
commercial oil and gas production has been established for many years from
similar geological sections.

Why not? I wouldn't be surprised to see big volume today and volatility as investors take profit and jump in, positioning themselves either for later or to ensure they're in or out for the weekend.

Hi Greyhound, do you suspect like myself that if no news is forthcoming today or monday ,the frenzy will propably subside along with volumes sending the price back down to the 16p level.

Could be but not necessarily. I just think there'll be volatility. Could see 20p shortly and then profit taking. I would assume that the hot money is already positioned how it wants to be ahead of news.

sidtrix, try www.digitallook.com and type in chp in search facility then click on chaco resources when results come up i.e. more than one company can share epic codes. Although the daily chart is delayed by 15 minutes it still gives you a general feel of intraday trading. Hope that`s usefull, cheers.

I do not know his trading record,and to be honest I am not interested in his trading record, I hold CHP and have done for a year, I have spent a great deal of time and energy on CHP so lets just see who is correct.

They may want to review his contract however following the outcome of Primavera.

CHP is just one small share , most people have between 10 & 30 as a core holding and trade many more. He went short on PET@ 140 all the way down to 30 what a clown.

My prediction is that we will get news on post number: 1797
