The only Captain here is Captain Scarlet, the red that has been draped on SEO's share price since last Autumn when all started to not be as it should with Greenseal. 30p sp was based not on the 200 potential machines at Asda but many more including USA and I also believed that last Spring. Now we have 2?? and it is quite pathetic but one has worked for 16 hours, whoopy-doo!!
I advised last Autumn that something was not right, the forecast profits were constantly being reduced and I baled out at 21p as I believed that Starpol whilst having potential sales was a cover for the faltering Greenseal progress which later emerged to be true. Stanelco have now lost credibility and whilst there are several other potential fronts being worked on there are very little sales and no signs of profits. Deal or No Deal, it will be a struggle for SEO sp now until they must finally deliver. I have to admire the will of those still holding but as I said last year, you could have sold and bought back twice as many. Good Luck brave folk still holding and I honestly hope that a major contract is done to drive the sp back up for you.

Don't we all but I think all this testing particulary, on all 3 main models of sealing machines, including buying either new machines or second user one's should have been done way before even talking to such big players like ASDA & WM. SEO seem to have rushed into this and only seem to have just got their website to an acceptable standard.

Problem for Greenseal IMO is that maybe the maths doesn't add up as expected and the potential savings may not justify the expense of conversion and royalties. There are many applications that still require laminates to maintain gas barriers so no material cost-savings. There maybe an energy saving but RF sealing is slow so potentially reduced cycle speed off-sets some savings. Add to that inconsistent performance and would you pay for a conversion and royalties? So bring on Starpol, it has to be competitive but so far have you seen any detail on profits? Rather than build their own plant they will licence the technology. Does this story have deja vu, set alarm bells ringing? No doubt all will be revealed this year and maybe SEO will prove a now sceptical market wrong.

You could be 100% on all fronts. Its one thing for a small company to make the claims SEO have, and to that end they have managed to attract the desired audience. To seal the deal the following would have to be well proven before anyone would buy:
1. Cycle times are at least equivalent to conventional method
2. Reliability is at least equivalent to conventional method
3. Seal quality is at least equivalent to conventional method
4. Energy savings are in-line with that claimed
5. Maintenance cost is no more expensive than conventional machine
6. Conversions to have negligible impact on productivity
7. Machine operability to be equivalent to conventional
8. Reliable servicing and spares availability

Not an exhaustive list but certainly, from my experience, the above must be met before anyone should purchase a conversion. IMO the tooling longevity issue automatically kicked 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 into touch. No.6 was addressed by purchasing replacement units. The assessment of a single trial unit would certainly be over an extended period, typically 3 months, over which time the above points would all have been passed. Failure of any item could mean further extensions to trial period.

If the product has now been accepted by a packhouse, I would say it has passed very stringent testing {more than probably envisaged by SEO}, hence the timescale. As SEO have stated that two of the four suppliers theyre currently working with have 50 and 30 machines respectively, lets hope that having proven the three different models, roll-out can soon commence at "pace!

the testing was done at the packaging firms ready to roll-out, apparently testing was passed and hopefully that means commecialisation and roll-out with a definite figure of how many machines. But this will not be great news,just delayed news, but a sign that GS is now going to roll-out to the 200 figure. WM and Macd's will be the real news and essential to restore confidence in seo.

I would advise you to read Andysmith's comments and posts from approx 18 months ago. I can't be bothered to tell you why, but you might learn something. However, I will say that there are certain posters you should pay attention to on certain threads. I doubt if Andy cares if you think he is talkng bollocks or not!

Pete, you are right I don't care what these people think.
I advised buying at 5p as I saw potential, I advised selling at 21p as I believed things weren't going to plan, enough said. Nice profit in the bank, believed there would be more but I had my eyes open and was not obsessed with SEO.
I don't hold, I sold out as I thought that the market would not like the delays. I fully intended to get back in at a lower price but at the moment I do not have the confidence that SEO can deliver the deal. If they do at last manage to seal a deal as well as some trial trays then I can get back in at a much lower price than even I expected. Nice to see biscuit filtered me out, can't bear anyone suggesting things not right, wake up!!!

You've obviously read the comments following your earlier posts as you've posted again, but you haven't the common decency to answer the questions put to you. Makes your posts impotent rather than important, IMO.

Any fool can post along the lines of 'The machines have been running non-stop for the last 8 weeks'. It would also take a fool to believe it when questions for substantiation are ignored.

Have been in touch with the company twice recently; I may be drawing the wrong inference but came off the phone thinking that the delay in the next RNS on progress might this time genuinely be linked to them trying to conclude a deal. Has anyone else spoken to them and formed a similar view? It sure needs a coup like that, otherwise we're heading for even thinner times!
