Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Pub Talk.
A little earlier I overheard in the pub a few imbibers slating off the government and its incompetence at managing the economy and its success at “stimulating” a double dip recession, with falsification of unemployment figures and suggesting that there are now three part timers holding the jobs of two people, on lower wages than previously.
One of them said he was thinking of sending “Economics for Dummies” to Cameron for reading during the Parliamentary recess. (Holidays, for normal people.)
Somebody else suggest that the he ought to send another copy to Osborne. (Not quite that language.)
The last comment from one of them was that it would be B. useless as neither of them can read, or if they did they wouldn’t understand the books anyway.
They were all drinking bitter, which seem to be in keeping with atmosphere.
I do hope Cameron and Dave hang around for another 2 and half years. Perhaps, they could go to the upper house then.

Hear the tories are now having punch ups, before they get into the bars.
Hitting each other with handbags and powder puffs.
What a crew, getting more like the UKIP and BNP everyday.
Bring back the ermine.

It is not possible to falsify unemployment figures these days as they are now issued separately by the ONS (Office of National Statistics). Years ago the figures could be massaged by the government in power, but that is not the case now. The people you were listening to were probably of low intelligence and can safely be ignored.
Was the location of the pub 'up north' as that might explain the general ignorance? By 'up north', I mean anywhere north of Hendon.

Ps. Some should be behind bars.
Waiting for Leveson's report on the Cameron and Brook's affairs.
Perhaps, Dave can go horse riding during his holidays.

Hays,
One of my daughters worked at the ONS and was "amused" by the distortion of "said statistics".
(She was a statistical analyst there for a number of years.)

A.
You should be OK.
Hear Dave is trying to form a coalition with the BNP and UKIP before the next election, in order to have an opposition party to lead.
Happy day are here again!

As long as you reprint all the front page head lines from all of the newspapers who covered the story and the names of every one who read the story and repeated what was said .
After reading that does it not make you sound like a complete idiot.
So were did you hear that story about Dave is trying to form a coalition with the BNP and UKIP before the next election ? Get your fact's right before posting rumour's about someone and don't post on here that am a member of the BNP without any proof , calling someone a BNP member just because he as right wing views just show's how your perverted little mind works

Again, re-read your posts.
Instead of withdrawing the remark you made attempts to defend yourself for making the remarks, by blaming the "papers" and the contents which you read and then defining another individual on what many would consider the less than flimsy evidence.
That is to my mind similar to what Cameron and his crew are presently doing by continuously holding and blaming others for the mistake that they themselves are making. (Repeating a mantra, hoping that it will absolve themselves comes to mind.)
If one considers the various remarks made on various threads on this board, about various political leaders of the last labour government during and after their overall period in office and taking in to consideration the smearing by the various newspapers, who seemed to many to be in hock to the leadership of the tory party, my remarks would seem by many to be mild and hopefully for some humorous.
I was looking back through various posts a few days ago, (actually looking for a lost letter) and came across a letters criticising Blair’s actions and some of the Labour policies very early on in that “administration”. They were critical of policies but not the character or physiques of those individuals.
Also, although I don’t have any written evidence, I was critical of the Wilson, Callaghan and other Labour governments and their policies and I was extremely critical of Maggie and many of her policies and henchmen.
I am in general a political atheist and will remains so, but interested in the complexities of government and social cohesion.
Again, I suggest you re-read my postings carefully. I have never stated that you were a member of the BNP, but many of your remarks for me, seem to have much in common with some of those made by members of the BNP.
That is opinion and I have a right to it and you have the right to disregard it.
Again, “perverted little mind”, perhaps you meant “a little devious mind”. But again thinking back to some of your postings, I wonder if it is not a case of “projection”. I leave it up to you whether you consider, or dismiss my thinking.
As far as “Pub Talk” is considered, just have a drink in a few pubs and listen to what is being said. Perhaps, Dave should do it more often and get in touch. If he does I do hope he remembers his children.
Sleep well.
