greekman - 06 Jul 2006 17:43 - 17601 of 27111

I agree that Ssanebs posts have always been interesting and been fairly accurate. Saying that, (and without trying to provoke a dispute) I feel Oblomov is fully justified in asking for some credibility of the post. It maybe that the info is from a delicate source that precludes Ssanebs from giving fuller details. I have no problem if that is the case, so if it is could you expand to that end. I once received info that I could not expand on, so I stated as such. Some posts stated, they could/would not treat the info with any credence, whilst others took it as fact. Either way did not bother me as without back up info I would not expect the majority of posters to take is as factual truth.

Just thought I would let you know tweenie that I also bought more to average out and hopefully make a few quid.

The purchase was large, and yet was not shown on the trades section - rang the broker who told me they can keep any large purchase for up to a month before putting it through - interesting!!

I honestly believe that if the news was to be bad then they would have had to report on time - the delay must be for something positive otherwise they are putting themselves in serious trouble.

Also I see that Teather on the 28th June put Stanelco as a buy!!

Why would they do this if the news was not going to be good?

It would damage their reputation as well as Stanelco.

Another point: Asda and others do not keep potential suppliers for this long without believing that they can supply - it just takes time.

Finally, I am surprised that no-one has mentioned this.

The new web-site clearly states Asda by name and the number of machines to be placed.
This cannot have been done without their permission - so why give it if the detail is not accurate?

Just some thoughts for you all to pull apart - but consider if they get it right!!!!

Driver your 'get real' comment bambozles me, I am not defending SEO, in fact you could almost say I hate them.

G D Potts - 06 Jul 2006 19:22 - 17604 of 27111

when is all this big news scheduled? when you expect to hear updates on greenseal and the wraps etc. Thanks.

G D Potts - 06 Jul 2006 19:23 - 17605 of 27111

Pinnacle, the delay has pushed them back till when?

pinnacle - 06 Jul 2006 19:31 - 17606 of 27111

The middle of July is next week - so I would expect something then.

I have written to Stanelco asking for confirmation of the date only yesterday so I will have some news tomorrow - I will then let you all know!

The closed period does not preclude them from giving an actual date.

G D Potts - 06 Jul 2006 19:52 - 17607 of 27111

thanksa,

garyble - 06 Jul 2006 19:55 - 17608 of 27111

Pinnacle,

Good points, but the one re: SEO's website stating ASDA's name and the number of machines is of no consequence. It is simply a re-hash of the 24th March 2005 RNS, they are still in the exclusivity period and until it ends I assume it still holds.

pinnacle - 06 Jul 2006 20:20 - 17609 of 27111

Never assume anything!

If you are re-doing your web site then why include Asda if only for another month or so - might as well carry on with the old web site till the situation is clarified.

Re-doing web sites is expensive for a company of Stanelco's size so it would't make sense to have to do it twice!! - plus it would be embarassing.

Also RNS doesn't mean you can use that info for your web site - you will still need Asda's permission on the content you wish to use.

Everyone Happier?

garyble - 06 Jul 2006 20:38 - 17610 of 27111

Thanks pinnacle.

By the way, the expense of a website is associated with its design {look and structure} and function not a simple entry with a link to another page.

pinnacle - 06 Jul 2006 20:42 - 17611 of 27111

Good point Garyble.

I am now going - let's hope tomorrow is kind to all of us.

Good Night.

driver - 06 Jul 2006 23:32 - 17612 of 27111

G D Potts
At least we agree on some thing, so alls well in the seo camp.

greekman - 07 Jul 2006 08:01 - 17613 of 27111

The following is from an article re a survey by Subway into what customers consider as green issues.
It's mainly irrelevant to our interests in packaging so have only posted one paragraph.

Consumer Perception Is That Healthy Ingredients Equal Eco-Friendly; Green Logo Increases Environmental Feel.
The study also found that brands with green logos and/or natural packaging, such as Origins, The Body Shop and Kiehl's, rose to the top in the green rankings.

So the message will be, 'If you have an environmentally friendly product (packaging) make sure the customers are aware'.
Lets hope that any companies that do use any of SEO's products push the idea fully to the public.

tweenie - 07 Jul 2006 09:03 - 17614 of 27111

pinnacle, lets hope we can claw some money back short term. Whilst we wait for the party

boldtrader - 07 Jul 2006 09:03 - 17615 of 27111

Anyone know if RHPS with Tom Bulmer has still got SEO as a hold?He was very bullish but all now seems quiet. Dont forget Guys you have never lost your cash until you sell. Good luck to all holders. Cheers.

pinnacle - 07 Jul 2006 09:20 - 17616 of 27111

Spoken to Stanelco asking for the date - they will let me know, however I get the feeling that they are waiting for something.

Will pursue it again this afternoon - let you all know then.

They seem to be keeping a lid on news this time - I feel it's got to be a decision from someone - just a feeling - because bad news would have leaked out by now it always does.

pinnacle - 07 Jul 2006 09:27 - 17617 of 27111

Just spoken to Stanelco.

Can't say I am excited!

The interims MAY be released at the end of next week or the beginning of the following week, got the impression that no other news will be accompanying them - could be wrong.

Two of the Directors are on holiday next week so I think it will be the week after.

The web-site will state the date - so keep watching.

I won't be able to obtain any more as I have pushed as much as I can.

greekman - 07 Jul 2006 09:43 - 17618 of 27111

The the results.
As previously reproduced, my E-Mail and reply from Robert Duggan, Company secretary.

"We are finalizing the interim results and intend to release them by mid July at the latest".
So if the above is correct they will have to release by the 16th, which is a Sunday.
That puts it more likely to be the Friday, as the last working day pre 16th.

As pinnacle states we have received replies so we are as up to date as possible.
Now if the 16th goes without the results release, and I have no reason to doubt Mr Duggan, well that is a different ball game.
