Pinnacle,
Good points, but the one re: SEO's website stating ASDA's name and the number of machines is of no consequence. It is simply a re-hash of the 24th March 2005 RNS, they are still in the exclusivity period and until it ends I assume it still holds.

Never assume anything!
If you are re-doing your web site then why include Asda if only for another month or so - might as well carry on with the old web site till the situation is clarified.
Re-doing web sites is expensive for a company of Stanelco's size so it would't make sense to have to do it twice!! - plus it would be embarassing.
Also RNS doesn't mean you can use that info for your web site - you will still need Asda's permission on the content you wish to use.

Thanks pinnacle.
By the way, the expense of a website is associated with its design {look and structure} and function not a simple entry with a link to another page.

The following is from an article re a survey by Subway into what customers consider as green issues.
It's mainly irrelevant to our interests in packaging so have only posted one paragraph.
Consumer Perception Is That Healthy Ingredients Equal Eco-Friendly; Green Logo Increases Environmental Feel.
The study also found that brands with green logos and/or natural packaging, such as Origins, The Body Shop and Kiehl's, rose to the top in the green rankings.
So the message will be, 'If you have an environmentally friendly product (packaging) make sure the customers are aware'.
Lets hope that any companies that do use any of SEO's products push the idea fully to the public.

Spoken to Stanelco asking for the date - they will let me know, however I get the feeling that they are waiting for something.
Will pursue it again this afternoon - let you all know then.
They seem to be keeping a lid on news this time - I feel it's got to be a decision from someone - just a feeling - because bad news would have leaked out by now it always does.

Just spoken to Stanelco.
Can't say I am excited!
The interims MAY be released at the end of next week or the beginning of the following week, got the impression that no other news will be accompanying them - could be wrong.
Two of the Directors are on holiday next week so I think it will be the week after.
The web-site will state the date - so keep watching.
I won't be able to obtain any more as I have pushed as much as I can.

The the results.
As previously reproduced, my E-Mail and reply from Robert Duggan, Company secretary.
"We are finalizing the interim results and intend to release them by mid July at the latest".
So if the above is correct they will have to release by the 16th, which is a Sunday.
That puts it more likely to be the Friday, as the last working day pre 16th.
As pinnacle states we have received replies so we are as up to date as possible.
Now if the 16th goes without the results release, and I have no reason to doubt Mr Duggan, well that is a different ball game.

I certainly hope the interims are worth the wait!!!!!!
Trying not to get too enthusiastic, but to date the anticipated news has been an anticlimax.
Now lets all chant: "GO, GO, SEO"........

As with all companies the important part of the interims will be the MD and Chairmans statement plus the Outlook.
As long as Stanelco is financially sound then none of us will suffer - time is all that will be required to secure a bright future.
This is not a quick process - as with all businesses it takes time to build up and what is required from us is patience.
Twitching only occurs when there is doubt about the financial standing of the company invested in.
I believe Stanelco because of it's main shareholders, should be financially sound until the revenue streams are signed.
Do all agree?

I agree re the MD and Chairmans statements being important, also the bit about being financially sound. The main point re the results will be the matter of contracts. I appreciate these things take time, but (mainly due to their own making) SEO now need to deliver. It matters not, in the short to medium term how sound the finances are, or potential orders, they will be judged on the question CAN THEY PRODUCE. If they can't the market will judge them and the price. The results will either way have a very big impact on the currant SP. All IMHO of course.

Hello all - much has happened since I last posted in November.
I still hold substantial shares (2m +) - must confess that I sold some, and confess again that with hindsight I should have sold a lot more.
I am still in profit - but obviously no where near as much as might have been. Strangely enough - I still have confidence in the products of this company, would like to see the management team strengthened, but still feel that they could be a world beater.
My view a while back was that they had started to reduce the risk attached to this company - but without solid sales coming through, this stock could tetter on the edge for a while.
Good Luck all, dont expect big surprises with the Interims.
