Tabasco - Identifying with the RSI situation is commendable and predominantly nurturing trait. However, if one is pushing the boundaries of situational behaviour expected by the group with which one associates, there are inevitably occasions where a line has to be drawn. Think of how you disciplined your children at varying stages of their development.

Namrehthis is an adult threadI personally did not agree with the methods the Master usedhowever this was his takeand my opportunity to debate
A few words spoken in hastewith warm bloodcaused by radiated heat from so called professionals
Who is at fault? you choose.like I said AM fastidious selection process seem to characterize those that fight back.and favour the antagonist
Incidentallyhas anyone from AM asked or contacted Fred to see if he wanted the Master banned?knowing FredI doubt if he did We all know the names on AM that could post what they likedand get away with murderand they have

Tabasco - perhaps ' least said, soonest mended ' is appropriate.

One for Cynic:
Pensioners hit by rise in living costs13-01-2010 14:48

The average household in Britain has seen the cost of living jump by 670, or 1.85%, over the past year to almost 37,000, but pensioners have had to find even more, says retirement income specialist MGM Advantage.

Biggest increases shown by November's Consumer Price Index are transport, where spending is up 6.9% to over 5,000, household goods and services which are now 3.5% more expensive, and recreation and culture, up 2%.

But MGM predicts the average retired household where the main occupant is aged 65-74 needs to find 23,107, an extra 429 a year, or 1.89%, to keep up the standard of living they enjoyed 12 months ago.

A home where the main occupant is aged 75 and over will spend 14,926, another 225, or 1.53%, more than the amount they needed a year ago.

'Many retired people have had to endure a rise in their cost of living. This, coupled with the fact that people are generally living longer is placing considerable pressure on retirement income,' says Aston Goodey, sales and marketing director, MGM.

You could earn about 22% more income if you shop around for an annuity, he says.

Tab,

In general, my feeling about censoring is that for me, the "squelch" button is sufficient for my needs.

No one can make you "upset" by a few remarks or cartoons, if up to you how you react to the "stimulus".

Being a conceited b., I thought MRSI probably had more problems than I think I have.

I was a little intrigue about how he was trying to work them out.

But, I think that MRSI was attempting to be offensive to all and sundry, and many would find his continuous bombardment unreasonable and support a "cooling" down period for him, would be more than acceptable.

But there does seem there are a small group of posters, who when their opinions differ, resort to being personally abusive and offensive.

They are usually lightweights and it is seemingly the only method they have for discussion, having stalled in part of their development in youth by play ground practices.

(A bit like political debate is now considered to be invested in character assassination. Often, supported by, the baying of the pack animals of various tribes origins.)

But, as I am by nature provocative, I will continue to enjoy the bantering, which occurs on some threads.

jkd - It appears I have been a wee bit naive, my mistake obviously believing that this was a genuine Lloyds thread. Thanks for the heads up! Cheers Chris.

CC,

I see you are becoming less erudite every day.

I did say playground above, but in your case think the farmyard would be more appropriate.

Keep up with your school work, even you could make it.

Have a nice day.

Balerboy - 14 Jan 2010 09:25 - 1775 of 5370

sarky....:)

maggiebt4 - 14 Jan 2010 09:35 - 1776 of 5370

Back to LLOY - have been in this in varying degrees since nationalised - long time- Am now sitting on sizeable loss but over the years have banked enough divi's and profit to eradicate that loss, so, I intend to stay as I believe this will come good in time and on the way there will be opportunities trade, but I find this quite hard to read ATM. AIMVHO.

Chris Carson - 14 Jan 2010 09:39 - 1777 of 5370

Fred - Becoming less erudite everyday ( everyone rush for the dictionary now ... polished or rude) is totally immaterial! I stand by my statement in post 1770 you are still a PRICK! Touche!

skinny - 14 Jan 2010 09:41 - 1778 of 5370
