This is going to take alot longer than we originally thought, but the shares I have left in PET are staying for the long term, if you or anyone else wants to get out, then do it. We will most certainly see an RNS soon, up-dating us on the situation, then one on Jordan, then one on Sudan, then Block 6, then the other 6 tenders to be submitted to Iraq next year. I'm sitting on a loss from yesterdays top up @ 44pence, but I'm a big boy and am not going to keep crying at my losses!!

What I'd really like is some views on what the share price should settle at even if there turns out to be no good news from Iraq. i.e. how good a piece of news commercially is the Jordanian agreement?

As of yet, very little posted on this BB is total rubbish (exept that posted by visiting posters)In the main this info has guided fellow investor through the stormy times and brought a sense of sanity to the insane share that is Petrel. This share was almost certainly criminally manipulated yesterday, for profit, not by accident, not by a bad journo'or a leak from MOO but by Criminals.
However I see this as possible good positive sign for Petrel. Why release that crap news via reuters if this share was doomed???

BB's are for sharing information and opinions, sometimes our thoughts are wrong, time will tell with regards to PET, but none of the information Dexter and I have shared has been anything but solid.

I of course feel sorry for anyone who lost money, as I'm one of them, but once again, anyone investing in any company knows the risks before they buy the shares.
